Well Scruffy old boy!!! Pat williams is a 400 pounder...(which means he is slow) it was a joke. Bad one at that. The story is true I had been drinking at the old Cooper theater with friends. And there was a bottle of whiskey on the floor behind me. He said he spotted me just past Excellsior blvd and it took till nearly 50th street to catch up. Nothing to brag about and no reason to lie. I do think it is funny that all the die hard fans pass this off like it is no big deal. But if the Vikes were 3-8 they would be all over them like white on rice. I have been there, I was clocked at 103 MPH when I was a kid. I told the cop I saw a sign that said 100 but of course that was Hiway 100... He did not see the humor as much as I did. But he treated me real decent gave me a ticket for 10 over and hoped I would learn my lesson.... I did. He also ignored the fact that I was drinking and had an open bottle... different times to say the least. Sounds like the coppers are more than fair to our purple speedsters. People like you drive me crazy! You can't really be that ignorant can you? Sorry to break the news to you but all these people involved were losers. You do not play with guns, you get the hell out of there if any fool brings out a weapon. Your "Best solution" would be the WORST. Education! feel free to laugh at this one...... If I were grand pooh bah of this country I would make gun safety a mandatory class for every single grade school student. They all would be forced to shoot a gun and learn of it's destructive properties. Then they would never wonder..... which is the cause for many deaths. If a Kid "Finds" a gun and has never been allowed to touch one what do you suppose he will do with it? On the other hand if the kid has been trained properly he and she will never want to touch the gun because they know the destruction it can cause and kids do not want to get hurt! My daughters were exposed to guns at a very early age, they know about them, respect them and have no interest in playing with one! They were taught the power by shooting the weapons themselves and they were taught that if they ever found a weapon they were to never touch it, rather get an adult or call the police. It is simple and does not take long to do. Train kids about guns! Lock up guns. And be smart around all weapons. We won't quit eating steak if the sharp knives are outlawed.... geez. Please spend your energy teaching before bad things happen instead of weeping after they happen. Shoulda woulda coulda Does not add up to squat!
