Number 9 Grill

Finally got there Saturday night. Took my daughter and her family there for her birthday. The deep fried shrimp was scrumptious and large. Onion straws delicious! My mother got the patty melt, it was huge! My son-in-law got a steak, said it was very good! Great food, beautiful place, friendly people, hard workers! Just about the whole family was in there working. To those that say that they don't know how to work, you are nuts! They were hustling food, drinks, taking orders you name it! Cambridge City should be proud that they decided to put such a fantastic place in our town! Great asset!  (Dec 2, 2012 | post #72)

Matt sounds jealous and doesn't really know what he's talking about. So if you dislike the Fortmans so much and don't want to support Cambridge City, go to Richmond...who cares?!  (Nov 18, 2012 | post #49)

I worked for the Fortmans years ago, they do NOT think they are better than anyone else. The Fortman boys HAVE worked hard all of their lives and they have instilled that in their children. Apparently you do not go into the grocery store to see that their children do work there and they work hard. Fortmans expect nothing less than hard work out of their employees.  (Nov 7, 2012 | post #20)

I hope that this becomes as popular or has the reputation that Welliver's once had! The Fortmans have been taught well and know how to run and handle a business! Their grandpa Cutshaw would be proud! I hope to get there soon, drove by last night and it looks absolutely beautiful! Congratulations Fortmans and best of luck to you! And to the person that is complaining about the prices, were the prices NOT on the menu?! Sheesh!  (Nov 6, 2012 | post #12)

Dionne Shank

Went to the Western Wayne School field day at the end of the 2011-2012 school year. Dionne was there taking part w/her child, where were all of the other parents? Leave her alone, she made a mistake, and as long as you learn from your mistake is all that matters.  (Oct 22, 2012 | post #20)

Ind. parents charged with neglect in son's death

Looks like the mom was "well-fed ". I won't believe that there was "nothing that could be done for either the kidney stone or the acid reflux". Chemical straightener? or was it the shampoo for head lice? If the house was as dirty as reported, I would imagine that was the case, I cannot think of any other reason. If they are guilty, I hope they are starved to death.  (Feb 15, 2012 | post #6)

silver dollar bar

Just ate there last night, the food was delicious. The place was packed. I think Brian Canady can make a go of this place, I hope he does. Cambridge needs another place to eat.  (Jan 7, 2012 | post #57)

Linda Ronald

Hi would you be willing to email me your story? you could leave out names or what you feel comfortable with. email is againstprivategal@ yahoo.com About Linda Ronald? That's pretty much the story. As far as Barb Mayle, since it was based on confidentiality, all I can say is that it was based on adoptions for both cases. I believe that there was another GAL that we worked with, she wasn't much better. I think her name was "Gloria" ?maybe?, it's been too long to really remember. I don't know if she's even still doing GAL work.  (Dec 15, 2011 | post #4)

Linda Ronald

We took our son there years ago, he totally at the age of 10 was able to pull the wool over her eyes. She advised that it was the school that was the problem, not what we suspected. As he grew older, we had more problems, we then took him elsewhere, diagnosed with what we had suspected. We contacted her, requesting his records. She didn't have them, then she said she'd have to check her archives, it went back and forth. Then when she did give us the records it was absolutely NOT what she had advised or counseled us with 6 years prior. I wouldn't recommend her at all! I also have worked in an attorney's office and Barb Mayle was very difficult to work with and dropped the ball in at least two cases that I am familiar with!  (Dec 15, 2011 | post #2)
