It was worth every minute of it and I don't miss any of you. You were all leaches looking for a freebie. When that ended you were gone, good riddance! The Longbranch is just fine, thank you.I think I heard from one of my customers that there are 47 bars in Middletown, hope you and your kind patronize the other 46.  (Nov 18, 2009 | post #126)

Yea we have a league starting the 8th of this month. Its a south league, Middletown only. No one has joined that league yet. Bring your own team and captain it yourself. We don't have a lot of really young ones. Most of them want to fight too much. It's an old bar with a lot of regulars. Karaoke on Fri and Sat. Football, food and cheap beer on Sunday. Come see us.  (Oct 4, 2009 | post #98)

It was also called the Talk of the Town for a brief period. My late husband bought the Longbranch in 1982. I've been running it since 2001. You all should come visit.  (Oct 3, 2009 | post #91)

No, I don't remember them.I always heard Third Base was a little rough.I was working at the Point when Don Hartbarger got the bar on Garfield, down from Hunky Chunky Baltimore Inn. Can't remember what he called it, then Brenda Liams got it and called it the Aquarium Lounge. Don then went to Franklin and had the Outside Inn. I think it's an Orioles now.  (Oct 3, 2009 | post #88)

I loved Chuck. I worked at the Point Cafe for George Helton. Remember that one? Used to be Rebel Inn. Anyway, Chuck came in every morning 6 AM and insisted that we both drink a glass of wine. I never got used to it, lol. Did anyone mention Sons Bar & Grill or the Old Crow, Gibby's  (Oct 2, 2009 | post #86)
