This is a little boy of 7 years old we're discussing here, and too often Aboriginals themselves are food for the crocks in the Northern Territory. We have had much more worse animal cruelty carried out by young kids, teens and adults in Australia, but I don't recall it going to overseas news before. Wonder why this one did??? I would never say that this child is going to get worse or not as I'm not qualified to make that assumption, and all the facts aren't known anyway. For those who have ever lost a family pet
Better add another beer for Elsa, my cat [18] who I had to have put down also as she'd had several strokes and the last one affected her pretty bad. Then another one for Kev's dog Squiddy [11] who died one week before Boof [15]. That's the down side to owing a pet but I don't regret one single minute of the 18 years with Ellie. She was abandoned at birth by her stray mother and some kids found her in a park with the after-birth still attached, only an hour or so old. I got her when she was 4 days old from the Pound. I had to teach her everything and she held her own bottle like a baby. I had 2 vets tell me she wouldn't live...so much for their professional opinion! She didn't think she was a cat, to her she was human. It's so hard to have to let go of something like that, as it's not just a pet dying, a way of life dies with them. Better have a beer for me too SA, as you've made me sad all over again and I don't drink... Real sorry about your little boy and I hope your little girl doesn't fret for him too much. :( (Friday Oct 10 | post #9)

When it comes to the brain, even the most knowledgeable scientists don't know what's really going on in there, so as lay people, how can we ever begin to understand? I think with some people, proof is needed that they even have a brain to begin with! There are too many factors in psychological disorders and too many variables for bad behaviour to consider when forming an opinion, and so easy to say "feed this kid to the croc as he's a sociopath in the making". When you know the background of some Aboriginal children, you wonder how any of them can grow up to be decent human beings, but despite all odds a percentage of them do. I believe many mental and physical disorders are caused by this chemically drenched world babies are born into now and nothing will change my mind on that. I'm neither insane or stupid tho some might disagree. There was a point to my question if you had taken the time to think. There were no reports of a build-up from animal cruelty to Jamie's murder with those 2 killers. I firmly believe in the "bad gene" theory, also in no proper parental training when it matters, and also in the over dosing of kids brains with chemicals. And no, I don't think a "couple of talk sessions" ever fixes any of these problems - if it's 'in' them, they'll do it again. I also don't believe in judging until the full story has been told.
