Richie Sambora and girlfriend Orianthi take to the famed ...

I've always found that big of an age difference ??, if they could be your child It's just wrong to me. Plus one looks like desperate for youth and the other after something. May not be the case but I think Johnny Debb is in the same boat so not just because it's Richie. So not a fan. But, aside from how I feel about it, if/when it goes south there is a tour, album, he's linked his solo career to her and promoting her as an equal that would go with it. This doesn't sound like a very smart move.  (Jun 6, 2014 | post #10)

A Lady who saw Jon and family.

Awe... That is so cool and yes I'm sure it took self control. But, I bet the family appreciated it. I know I'm off topic, but I live about 35 min. from Chris Daughtry and to get to the nearest city often go through his community. The first house they purchased after idol - they sold pretty quickly and opted for more land and I'm sure security and privacy. Everybody and their brother knew where they lived. Many still do but I think some of the novelty has worn down so locals just keep going. I've passed his wife on the road and flew out of Greensboro with Chris to Atlanta a couple of years ago. First saw him in the terminal. I just smiled and nodded - suspect he just wanted to get in the air too. I could have grabbed his water bottle from his cup holder after he got off, but thought I'd just be too tacky. He's shorter than I realized. I texted my daughter - crazy way the brain works - that if my flight went down we'd definitely make the news because Chris D.was on board. Jon, I think I could be gracious. Now Richie - oh no, I'm forgetting all manners!  (Dec 16, 2013 | post #18)

Richie Today Show Australia interview 11-4-2013

I understand the aggravation with Richie's travels, to the band fan - seems he could be on tour then. Compound that with his "reason" for not touring -to be a dad, it's a bit of a thorn. But, everyone here is fan enough to remember that he has a joint custody agreement with Heather. So basically in the last 7 months, Ava would be with him 3.5. He could have traveled for over 3 months when she was at mom's anyway. When you tour, the promoter decides when and where. So, for me "just" the travel is not a big deal. Other things??? Now, do I believe for a minute that wanting to be home is the entire picture of what is going on? - No. Do I believe we as fans will ever really know - No.  (Nov 17, 2013 | post #187)

I know it's also been hashed quite a bit as to if the perception was Jon's on fire or on auto-pilot - but Forbes released the top 100 celebs for 13. Oprah regained #1, but guess who was #7? Bon Jovi - it showed as a band not the man and the pic included Richie, even though he was not on most of this tour. To be that high on Forbes - what's the expression - "they are smiling all the way to the bank" and someone (fans) had to spend a lot of money for that to happen.  (Nov 13, 2013 | post #169)

Richie Today Show Australia interview 11-4-2013

I'm a bit of those, said with a smile. I'm flustered with some of his words/actions, no head in the sand Richie girl. I do get it, it's his life bottom line and he just won't ask my opinion. But as someone on another forum posted and I told them I was stealing it "I can't help but love the selfish bastard." I'm still looking for that "don't care" magic pill or a rehab. That's me - but some people are just watching IMO waiting for the train wreck. It's like seeing tragedy on the road - you know you shouldn't but you have to look.  (Nov 13, 2013 | post #165)

Richie Today Show Australia interview 11-4-2013

I don't think I've seen anyone yet mention how he said he had taught Ava "morals" . I understand on one hand but then I don't. Children learn more from what we do vs what we say. Now, I was raised by a raging alcoholic and I learned to hate it, so maybe she will look at things in the reverse? It doesn't always work that way. I have been a single parent for 15 years. No nannies, no other parent sharing custody,(every other week end) no big paycheck, no housekeeper, no multiple vacations, just 50+ hours away from them every week to keep a roof over their head. Ava seems to be enjoying her lifestyle just fine IMO. But, there are times, if I could afford it, my "spirit" wouldn't let me out the door either and you can't decide when that feeling will hit - 16 months old or 16 years. I'd shelter them from the world, but that can't happen either. He has contradicted himself multiple times in word and actions. Maybe time for healing and he's trying with the no Malice remark. Now, he's not been 8 years sober - maybe as someone else said struggling with it for 8 years. To me, Richie seems to have a soft, charitable heart but attached to the R&R lifestyle and behavior of an alley cat. Quite the conflict.  (Nov 5, 2013 | post #42)

Richie at the Beeder's Cup

Ok, I was Wrong! Please don't tell my kids I ever said that. It does now seem the social media world consensus its the LA Realtor and not the young model. All the 20 something blonds just blur together. (smile)  (Nov 5, 2013 | post #27)

More Rumor Fix, but they seem to be all things Richie: Hope the link works, don't have much success for some reason with them - operator error most likely. She is the N/R new Model, now 22 and if you check current pics - IMO a lot like a young Heather http://www.statesm an.com/feed/entert ainment/antms-hann ah-jones-the-girl- who-caught-richie/ fWPct/  (Nov 3, 2013 | post #19)

Richie coming to Australia for Melbourne Cup

I heard the TMZ sports live, saw the link on FB But for some reason the recorded version on the web site has deleted the questions they did ask about the band. I've seen a lot of others comments and it is turning into a bit of that gossip game discussed on here some time back - versions are changing depending upon how someone interpreted it or how they took it. I wish I had turned on my phone and recorded it - he did say something close (I don't remember enough to quote) to what you say plus what I do remember and means a lot to me anyway, was that there was no "malice" . It did make it sound more like his choice not to be there.  (Nov 2, 2013 | post #25)

Welcome to human. Just hit on something I was familiar with. I've learned a lot from others on here. Have a great week end.  (Nov 1, 2013 | post #10)

No Aunt Here

Didn't say she would, and I have no idea why she posted that video. The riff is from H&E's Dig album. His version of When A Blind Man Cries his also from an earlier H&E album - knowing Richie was doing a cameo was the only reason I followed Dig. Did see on FB this am where someone said they spoke with her and she said it was old video?? Again, more someone saids... Maybe he is working with her, or will be and she used the old video to get people to look, which worked.  (Oct 29, 2013 | post #6)

No Aunt Here

It is from the Dig album by Heaven and Earth.(Stuart Smith at one time was married to Heather's sister Colleen.) I've attached a link to an interview with Smith very long... never listened to it all as I think it just starts to repeat but he talks about Richie at about 3.32. http://youtu.be/cE YWpB7AtXA I hope this link works, but if it doesn't work you can search you tube for Rockeyez Interview w/ Stuart Smith w- Heaven & Earth 3/24/13  (Oct 28, 2013 | post #3)

Richie at the 12th Annual Celebration of Dreams

I prefer his hair a bit longer and darker, closer to the undiscovered soul color and enough weight to look healthy. But, since he's not ask my opinion - Smile. Just so he's not eye liner, spike hair BS some of pics have been. He is a good looking 54 year old man, nothing wrong with that. Good with his hands too......I'm very happy with a guitar in them. I am glad that Mr. Gore called, Dreamfound called....  (Oct 27, 2013 | post #10)

Mohegan Sun

I have heard that this venue has strict curfew and regulations due to the casino connection?? I did find their policies online and the venue prohibits quite a bit. Cameras are restricted and no recording devices - which almost everyone now is using their phone which can do both? I suspect, being a rock show they knew it was impossible to enforce so did what may have been a feeble attempt?? Things like that never feel fair when your device is taken and the person beside you is left alone. One of those punish the honest policies. Overview of Rules & Regulations of the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza The arena is a smoke-free facility ◾No coolers, bottles, cans or containers allowed. ◾No outside food or beverage. ◾No horns, whistles, noisemakers, banners or laser pens. ◾No video cameras or recording devices. ◾No professional lens cameras. Professional lens cameras are cameras with any lens 3 inches or longer. ◾No illegal substances. ◾No weapons or other threatening objects. ◾No re-entry upon exit. ◾No bags, backpacks or boxes allowed into the facility. ◾Electro nic devices such as, but not limited to, laptops and mobile tablet devices that have capabilities of audio and/or visual recording are prohibited inside the venue.  (Oct 26, 2013 | post #12)
