Topamax used for BPD and mood swings
Yes I lost weight at first 6 months or so, but then I have gained about 45 lbs. I also have bouts of fluid retention a.k.a "cankles " I have never had that before. (Aug 24, 2009 | post #28)
Presently Im visiting friends in New Mexico, I'm from Michigan. I forgot my topamax at home and I now am going on 1 week w/out it. I'm experiencing some of the withdrawal symptoms, nausea, horrible cramps w/direhha??,sweats, freaky dreams, lower back pains which are severe, sleeplessness,headaches,tingling and other weird sensations. I AM SCARED!!! Walgreens won't let me re-fill or emergency fill till I get home, insurance BS! I'm just wondering if I should push through and get off this crap or not. I was taking it for migraines and mood disorder at 150 mgs. daily for about 5 years. Can anyone help me, please? I am also allergic to sulfa meds if that makes any difference.
