I really think it is at Epidemic if not Pandemic levels

WeAllItch, I would be surprised if you can report this to the local Health Department. I think it will only take the word of doctor/clinic/hosp ital--someone licensed to diagnose. Please report back on the outcome of your effort. I will agree that scabies--or whatever we are suffering from--is advancing throughout the developed world. Gene-ette  (Feb 27, 2013 | post #2)

My Ivermectin Treatment Story

In_UK, Please consider one experiment using heat. If you have a heating pad, press the hot pad on an area of activity. If you get relief, then think about what FRED is saying. Whatever it is that's plaguing you, drive it out, heat being a component. Of course, FRED's talking about activating your body's internal mechanisms, not applying external heat. I'm just gently suggesting the concept. It may bring you some relief during a long day of suffering. Gene-ette  (Feb 27, 2013 | post #1314)

Crawling, pin pricks, white sand, paper cuts, black speck...

Hungry Ghosts, At first, I was like, "yuck! I hate yogurt." But, YAM goes on the skin? Intriguing.... I have to say that since eruptions happen wherever skin is untreated, yeast sounds plausible. IOW, the yeast is everywhere and will be active if we don't interfere. I find it incredulous that a mite could be crawling about until it finds a safe place to enter/exit. However, my punch biopsy was positive for arthropod. So I don't fit the mold (pun fully intended). Gene-ette  (Jan 28, 2013 | post #2)

Borax Solution - CURE

Canuckette and Rundown Teacher, Would you please let us know how you take the FGh2o2? Do you add the drops in a liter bottle and sip throughout the day? Or guzzle 6 ozs in am, noon, and pm? I have trouble holding water. Also, do you buy distilled or can I get away with bottled spring water? Smart Water is distilled with electrolytes added. Not sure if that interferes with anything. I'm not taking sides, but I will comment that FRED hasn't suggested anything that is harmful. He didn't invent FIR, and I'm convinced heat has a positive effect on my condition. The mustard/bath salts bath is as old as the hills. And who could argue with raspberry smoothies? Gene-ette  (Jan 27, 2013 | post #252)

This isn't scabies folks its Morgellons

Cured_not, Are you purchasing a ceramic? Sunny Jung is not taking orders. I couldn't find any other place to buy the carbon fiber. I read about a spa in Buffalo. I've never been in a FIR sauna. They are all ceramic here in NYC. Coincidentally, I need a new heating pad. I am very physically active and currently have an injury. The pad would be great. Pricey, though. Just a little info on the FIR heating products. The Far Infrared Shop is not taking orders. The Far Infrared Store has a pad for $240, but it is ceramic. There are bunches of spas in NYC w FIR ceramic saunas, btw $25 & $40/session. Cured_Not, what is your plan to get far infrared treatment? Gene-ette  (Jan 24, 2013 | post #203)

Borax Solution - CURE

Thanks itchee. That's right, the topical Borax mix helps, but doesn't cure. I don't find the reasoning in drinking Borax. It helps w circulation and that may be beneficial, but there's no way it will kill a skin infestation. However, if you have a blood sucking parasite, it may have more of an effect. Taking food grade H2o2 is far more logical for a scabies-like mite. I have no idea what kind of mite I have. Gene-ette  (Jan 24, 2013 | post #1088)

Borax Solution - CURE

Hi. Since about last October I've been applying Borax, 3%h2o2 and water: 3T, 1c, 2c respectively, in a.m. and again before bed, and 2% sulfur pomade around eyes and in/around scalp at bedtime. That's all I do. I've had mite-bite-like eruptions for 5 years. I didn't start treating my skin until late 2012, as I thought it was an ectoparasite. I treated my environment agressively, got rid of everything, and moved twice. I'm a vegetarian and, ironically, eating so many fruits/veggies may have been my undoing. I don't believe Borax will kill the mites directly, but it does stress them, which affcts lifespan and reproduction. Borax is a salt, and it dries up their environment. They continuously seek out non-treated skin. I've never done a Borax bath. It will prob. do the same thing, but you chance sending them to the head. In the tub, put ointment on your scalp and around eyes. I hope others weigh in. Gene-ette  (Jan 24, 2013 | post #1083)

Borax Solution - CURE

I would really like to see this thread return to the Borax cure. Some people may still want to pursue it. I would suggest a venting thread. Besides me, is anyone using the topical Borax mixture? Is anyone still drinking it (I'm not)? Bill? Canuckette? Rundown Teacher? Fightingheretoo? Str8up? Wld love to hear frm U-all soon, next week I'm back to my routine and will have less time on the boards. FWIW, I don't think Borax topical rises to the level of poison. Isn't it just salt and oxygenation? Any opinions on that? Gene-ette  (Jan 24, 2013 | post #1081)

My Ivermectin Treatment Story

UK2, you should look into the morgellons thread. You know FRED. Fred has outlined some very good ideas about healing from within. Not saying any of us have morgellons--I'm not a diagnostician, but it is absolutely true that modern technology is negatively impacting the microbiome. Oxygenation, detoxing, and nutrients are the components of his plan. He's says it's working for him. Hasn't fixed his volatility, though. Gene-ette  (Jan 23, 2013 | post #1103)

Fred, please be kind to cured_not_almost. Cured, where is Rouses Point? The locator sometimes says I'm in the Bronx. I'm not. Try to be calm. It's a cliche, but, knowledge is power. FRED, I'm familiar with the study of the human microbiome. It's a hot topic in microbiology circles. Here is a brand new publication that may come up in your research. Careful Dana! You are running the risk of sending them up to your scalp, or worse, your eyes, where they are much more difficult to treat. Gene-ette  (Jan 21, 2013 | post #514)
