Mike, What is your view on the medical care the people of america get. Do you think everyone who needs medical care and has no insurance should get treatment and the goverment pay for it? Every employer should give each employee free insurance for whole family and get tax credit in return. The unemployed be covered by goverment insurance that would be paid for by a tax on income of 1%.I a "DUMB ASS TAX PAYER" can come up with things that will work not like you who did so much damage to arkansas" work comp insurance. This is how it works. first Mccain will win and about 6 months into the term he will get sick and step down putting the VP into his office. It's not him who the rep want it's his running mate who they know could'nt win himself. old big mouth (Hillary) and dumb ass (Obama) are there for show. You know 7 men run america and always have. Thats why your vote does'nt count they put who ever they want into office. everyone could vote for one person and 1 vote for the other and the guy with one vote could win. I worked inside the gov and I know lots of things going on that people would crap themselfs if they knew. Big "O" and BIG"H" are there for a reason. A black man and a woman for pres in america. lol,lol,lol You got to be kidding. America isn't ready for that yet thats why they put them on the same side. when will drivers and O/O learn that untill drivers get someone to speak for them your butting your head aginst the wall. been doing this 31 years. untill we get laws passed that cover us like pay. drivers need min $.40 per hub mile. yes hub mile. does anyone in trucking office work 10hrs and get paid for 8hrs? i think not.time on line 1 off duty thats only used when your on hometime or requested time off. line 2 sleeper thats 10hrs unpaid sleeptime. line 3 driving time when your driving @ $.40 per hub mile. line 4 onduty not driving now thats when your not on any other line. (sitting at dock,just hanging out and can't drive or sleep. $.40 per mile @ speed in truck owners main office like arkansas. so say line 4 has 5hrs on it you would get 5hrs x $26.00 ($.40x65mph=$26per hour)$130.00 does anyone think we should sit at a dock for 5hrs for free? the guy who works on the forklift that unloads you gets paid the time he waits for you to get your paperwork and pull out of dock and waits for next truck to get into the dock. he dont work for free. we give away 1000hrs per year @ $26.00per hour at a cost of $26,000.00 add that to your 100,000 miles driving thats a total of $66,000.00 per year. i can live on that can you? i'm just sitting around the house due to a head & back injury i'll be glad to take the job of getting us what we earn. thx DANCEHALLDR (May 13, 2008 | post #1)
