I am wondering why so many people in this thread a posting as if this person will not be held liable? Do you know more than this article states? (Wednesday | post #54)
Concert fees are simply bait, switch
Where did I say anything about being able to park somewhere else? You are confusing my comments with someone else. I was only expanding what someone else was calling "limited " parking at Blossom compared to downtown Cleveland where there are options. Read the entire conversation you will understand. You can avoid reaching for a lighter on the floor. It is a distraction that can be avoided. It was a personal choice to do something other than driving. (Sunday Jul 20 | post #39)
From Ohio Patrol, alcohol-related deaths in 2007: 473. Which is actually up from 2006: http://www.alcohol alert.com/drunk-dr iving-statistics-o hio.html The percent of roadway fatalities caused by DUIs has been consistent for 15 years. (Saturday Jul 19 | post #29)
Huh? The number of annual alcohol related fatalities in Ohio have been relatively unchanged for 15 years. (Saturday Jul 19 | post #26)
Why cannot it be avoided? Do you need a light to drive now? (Saturday Jul 19 | post #20)

Venues always hold tickets back for artists, special quests, giveaways, etc. and than release them at the actual show date and time if not used. (Friday Jul 18 | post #96)

I think the mean "limited " because you have no other options to park. There is not other parking options in competition. (Friday Jul 18 | post #95)
Gibson signs long-term deal with Cavaliers
If he spends in the off season and the salary is higher next year, than no there is no evidence. Do you really think Byrd is worth what he is paid? I do not. And if there is rumors about Hafner, it is because they locked themselves into a ridiculous contract for a DH that appears to have lingering injuries. (Thursday Jul 17 | post #60)

Because he is still in the minors and developing. He is not an established player that cannot improve or learn. (Thursday Jul 17 | post #59)

I am fairly sure that Dolan took over the team in February of 2000. (Thursday Jul 17 | post #55)

Since we hit the bottom in 2004 (which would still be #6 in highest of Jacobs salaries), the salary has increased each year (21%, 35, 10, 28). The average salary (http://www.sports line.com/mlb/salar ies/avgsalaries) over those same years has not even increased double digits. For whatever reason Doolan did go through a cheap spell, but the annual increases over the last few years are reasonable. I will not complain unless we see the same drop cycle happen every 5-6 years. So far, there is no evidence of that. (Thursday Jul 17 | post #53)

http://content.usa today.com/sports/b aseball/salaries/t eamresults.aspx?te am=5 You are actually going to use the year Jacobs was doing everything possible to pump up the team value and make a last hoorah effort at a title as basis on how the team should always be run? (Thursday Jul 17 | post #52)

Who does Sexson replace? We already have too many first baseman and DHs on this team. Our bullpen needs lot more than just a closer to be successful when they are the last in the majors in all most every statistic. And you rarely see closer moves midseasonThe Rockies were 44-44(.500) at the break and 5.5 GB and 4 GB from wilcard. The Indians are already 41-53(.436) at 13 GB and 14 GB from the wild card. It would take some of the largest collapses ever in baseball for us to get back into the playoffs with this records and injuries. (Thursday Jul 17 | post #51)

We HAD the best last year. We have had one of the worse this year in pitching. The bullpen is the worst in majors, so it would take more than a single reliever. It is hard to find a single reliever mid-season, more or less 2 or more. (Thursday Jul 17 | post #50)
