Aladtec Announces Launch of Major New Release for Their O...

Other employee scheduling software packages, like EZShift, have included messaging systems from day 1. These other employee scheduling software packages allow you to publish schedules online, which sends a text message to your employees notifying them of the schedule's availability. More importantly, some, like EZShift, have automatic scheduling: the manager defines rules regarding the company's shifts (for instance, minimum number of experienced EMTs on duty at any given time) and characteristics of employees (level of experience, for instance), then clicks a button and within minutes has an error-free shift schedule based on those rules and characteristics, as well as the employees' shift preferences. Nursing Shift Manager Mount Sinai Medical Cente...

Personally, my unit uses shift scheduling software like EZShift (http://www.ezshif t.com) to make sure everyone gets the most fair shift assignments they can. Our system lets the shift supervisors define shift rules (for instance, at least two nurses with at least three years of experience on duty at any given time) and employee characteristics (for instance, number of years of experience), then automatically generates a schedule based on those rules and characteristics, as well as the individual employees' shift preferences. It also lets the supervisors and employees communicate with each other online regarding shift preferences, schedules and last-minute changes.  (Aug 28, 2012 | post #2)

Shift Lead/SM lunches

Sounds to me like they don't know how to manage time for themselves, or like they're too busy with the responsibilities of being a shift manager. A good way to help them waste less time – and in so doing ask fewer favors of you – might be to set them up with some shift scheduling software. Scheduling shifts each week is probably the most time-intensive task for a shift manager. Shift scheduling software like EZShift (http://www.ezshif t.com) replaces hours of trial and error with a few minutes of waiting as the software builds an error-free schedule based on requirements for shifts, characteristics of employees, and employee shift preferences. The software also allows managers and employees to easily communicate through the internet regarding shift preferences, schedules and last-minute changes. Twelve-hour nursing shifts are a danger to patients | OPI...

With such an important job and so much on the line, if they're going to switch to longer shifts, they need to make sure they're doing it perfectly. Human error needs to be taken out of the equation. That's why my hospital uses shift scheduling software packages like EZShift. With such software packages, shift managers can make rules for shifts (for instance, a minimum amount of time between 12-hour shifts for nurses) and classifications for employees (for instance, who is a nurse, who is a doctor, etc.), then click a button and within minutes the manager will have an error-free schedule for a week, two weeks, or a month that incorporates the rules and classifications, as well as employee shift preferences. Beyond that, advanced shift scheduling software like EZShift incorporates a way for managers and employees to communicate with each other regarding shift preferences, schedules and last-minute openings. Click the link to find out how to get a free one-month trial of EZShift (http://www.ezshif t.com) shift scheduling software to start getting easy, automatic, error-free schedules.  (Aug 14, 2012 | post #49)

mgt. fair scheduling

A good way to make sure your store always complies with “fair scheduling” guidelines is to use an employee shift scheduling software package like EZShift. With this sort of shift scheduling software, managers can define classifications for employees (who is a manager, who is an assistant, etc.) and rules for shifts (from something simple, like how many workers have to be on duty at a given time, to something more complicated, like whether an assistant can work a weekend shift if he's already worked a night shift that week), then click a button and within minutes, the software will have built an error-free shift schedule for him, incorporating the rules and classifications he defined, as well as employee shift preferences. Employee shift scheduling software packages like EZShift also come with a built-in communications platform so managers and employees can discuss shift preferences, schedules and last-minute openings at the touch of a button. Click the link to see what EZShift (http://www.ezshif t.com) can do to save you hours of headache each week with easy, automatic, error-free shift scheduling.  (Aug 14, 2012 | post #15)

fair scheduling

An easy way to solve all the objections raised here against “fair scheduling” guidelines is to take the specific scheduling decisions out of the hands of shift managers and put them in the hands of a shift scheduling software package like EZShift. With such a software package, managers could simply define rules for different shifts (for instance, preferring the more skilled workers for the day shifts) and classifications for different employees (for instance, who the more or less skilled workers are), the click a button and have the software put together an error-free shift schedule within minutes that takes into account those rules and classifications, as well as individual employees' shift preferences. Shift scheduling software packages like EZShift also solve the issue of last-minute schedule changes by incorporating a sophisticated communications platform which allows managers and employees to communicate with each other regarding shift preferences, schedules and openings. Check out the link to see how EZShift (http://www.ezshif t.com) can save you hours of stress each week with simple, automatic, error-free shift scheduling.  (Aug 14, 2012 | post #41)

Chrysler to assign rotating shifts

The health risks of working shifts - especially rotating shifts, but also just late-night shifts - are well-documented. A good way to solve potential scheduling issues, save the shift manager hours of headache, and hopefully save the workers from the worst of the effects is to use a shift scheduling software package like EZShift. With such a software package, managers can simply define rules regarding shifts (for instance, maximum number of hours per week for a given level of worker, or any occupational health-related laws the factory is subject to) and classifications for workers (for instance, define which workers are more or less experienced), then click a button and within minutes they'll have an error-free shift schedule that takes into account those rules and classifications, as well as the employee shift preferences. Shift scheduling software packages like EZShift also have an easy-to-use way for managers and employees to communicate with each other regarding shift preferences, schedules and last-minute openings, all at the touch of a button. Head to the link to see how EZShift (http://www.ezshif t.com) can save you hours of headache with easy, automatic, error-free shift schedules.  (Aug 14, 2012 | post #59)

Kmart employee schedules

There are some ways that the corporate office could easily schedule shifts for individual stores. Shift scheduling software such as EZShift (http://www.ezshif t.com) will automatically generate schedules based on rules you set regarding specific shifts and workers. EZShift also incorporates a sophisticated client system, so individual workers can fill in their preferences from the comfort of their own computer. The corporate office could use EZShift to build and maintain a schedule for as many stores as it wants - quickly, easily, and error-free.  (Jul 26, 2012 | post #18)

Heath-care exec develops software for employee scheduling

While it Weber's application is certainly impressive, not every manager has the time to rely on his employees to bid on what shifts they prefer. That's why I use EZShift (http://www.ezshif t.com). Like Weber's application, it allows for quick communication between managers and employees. Unlike Weber's product, however, EZShift has a sophisticated rules system which lets managers define requirements for each shift and different types of employees and then let the system build a perfect, viable schedule itself. After the initial setup, each shift generating session takes about seven minutes. I can't tell you how much time EZShift has saved me over the six months I've been using it. Head over to http://www.ezshift .com to check it out yourself.  (Jul 24, 2012 | post #1)
