Do we have a history?

I wonder do we have a real history besides the one we keep being told by the whites? Our history was stolen, how can those who want to know about us find the truth? We are the only ones with no true history because they want us to follow their history not our own history or to know who we truly are. I rather know the truth than to live and believe in this lie. Why not admit that they stole it then tell us the truth that we were more than slaves and was good at other things besides picking cotton,etc....  (Feb 4, 2014 | post #1)

Why so few Black men are working

Why frank you are so ignorant? If you were not you have a strange way of showing it. I am not one to give your ignorance any hype or fuel, but on the real you need to find yourself some hope. You are the greatest problem in America, you are no better than the shit on a person shoe. I dislike your ignorant views on life, just to stroke your fuck up ego. If it wasn't for people that were native to this land you and your people would not existed or survived here and this is an fact that every bigot and racist seems to overlook every time. If you really that ignorant and hateful why come here to post? post that bullshit on Storm front and other bullshit site.  (Mar 1, 2013 | post #6104)

"This is Hell here": A prophetic message from our fallen ...

We as a people need to get our act together because if we do not our future is lost. The sequestration, the roll back of the voters right act, and a high unemployment rate in our communities. This tells me that if you unemployed, you will remain unemployed. If you are a hateful person, you going to still hate. People not going to change, but it have to happen in order to turn things for the better. We can see that Government, etc... is not the solution, the solution is that we must pull together. I feel in my opinion the answers are on our corners, in school and colleges, at the barbershop's, and sitting at the dinner table, but we are so selfish and tunneled-condition that we fail to see Martin Luther King Jr." Promised Land". Does it have to get real ugly before we act and voice our displeasures of our treatment or we going to roll-over and die?  (Mar 1, 2013 | post #1)

Money will always be a issue pt 2.

Thank You. You the only one understand where I am coming from on this topic. You also notice the other comments and it make you wonders at time. It like it a "ingrain " mentality. This is what I am talking about mainly right you got these racist idiots speaking the usual and misguided souls thinking they exempt or something. I hate to break it to them it might be fine now,but when the real sh*t hit the fan remember your words  (May 19, 2012 | post #14)

Money will always be a issue pt 2.

I got a question on an subject that might stir-up some things please do not ignore the questions that I present because it is a ugly truth that no one wants to talk about. Here it go, If we are a"diverse " nation why is it that AA's that are unemployed is never mention in the news and we are the after thought? We all so focus on this and that, but when it come to our people and culture, they skip or change the topic fast? Why we are not "Truly Economically Empowered or considered equal?" True, we work and things, but when we try to elevate economically we are hit with bureaucracies and unjust tactics to discredit one another. Will we ever get beyond just working to owning our own?  (May 18, 2012 | post #1)

Trayvon is the beginning of a wakeup call for us

Just to add to this by the non-response, I hit the truth on its head. No one can refute my claim. If we are a society so free and loving, why everyone with nugent on the threat? Why when Obama try to do something positive a whole lot of negative rhetoric comes out of the wood works? What does it take a person to see that everything that Tavis and Cornell doing is headed in the right direction? America is headed for a great fall if Romney is president. Until we can have a true third party system, we will still go around in circles. I am not again inciting anything but stating my views and opioins. I dont see where we as African Americans are free. I really don't If we are free there would be peace and stero-typing regardless of ethnicity will cease. True, we can do things but to what extent without be label militant, racist,or thugs?  (Apr 20, 2012 | post #2)

Trayvon is the beginning of a wakeup call for us

What do you tell the youth or how do you explain this to these angered bittered youth? How can anyone explain that we a diverse country with this going on? I am talking about plain ignorance, not racism or istitutionalized racism but it is plain ignorant that we have to go through death after death of our youths regardless of race. How can anyone just be blind to the injustice that is happening in a place that claim to be free but it is free for some not all? "The American Dream" better yet lie, a nightmare it does not make sense that we can not exist equally in society without hate. People regardless what you think you know like I thought and felt I knew, but America do not want you and I to live in Harmony they do not want us to be equal, and they do not want us here. For all those who side with them not your own you have been hoodwinked and brainwash thinking that you belong, but you don't fit in. We are the target of hate and annihilation and it is about time to wake up from that false dream that you are really free because you are not truly free.  (Apr 2, 2012 | post #1)

George Zimmerman......Hero!

This is just sad and America should be a shame of itself. They are got something to hide and it is showing day by day. All these people are lying and covering up with this murderer. He kill this kid but don't want to own up to it. How in the hell a person that had only skittles and ice tea can be ant type of harm? We can wait and wait, but some how some way this is going slowly away. You notice that when light is shine on any injustice they always get away with it.  (Mar 30, 2012 | post #552)

I understand people are taught hate and hate filled, but do you have a longer vocabulary? I am directing this to all those who use the n word, calling people this and the cardinal sin of disgracing this young brothers death. You can disrespect and think your small thoughts and spew your ignorant hate filled words, but disrespecting the dead is a no-no!!!! I don't care if you hate me personally because of my skin color, but I draw the line when it come to these young brothers because if this was to happen here ain't no telling how civil or restraint we would be. I have seen it many times so, why don't you let this brother rest in peace and focus on something else worthy of your time. You haven't met me but quick to judge me in this day and time I thought this was 2012 not the 50's or 60's? Those days are over and why you hating you should wise up to the fact that you doing the work of the same people who planted the divide in this country and it is a crying shame that you and people who think like you are too ignorant to realize it.  (Mar 22, 2012 | post #369)

Angry as a firecracker

I recently posted on a thread and wonder why it is not there anymore? Is my post that offensive to people that it warrant removal without notification? So, we have no rights here either to post our thoughts or feeling even though there are a lot of hate filled postings and threads? Why would you have a African American post, but allow racist people to speak their ignorance, but when we post truth it is rant, violates this or that? Do we have real freedom of speech?  (Mar 21, 2012 | post #1)

First Steps : What AA's want to see change in America?

I have a question that this forum can help me with. I understand all the cliche's especially if you do not learn from your mistakes you are doomed to repeat it. Why I brought it up? It is simple we learn and assume by what we tangibly can see. I want to clarify my intentions, I am doing plain old researching and I want to know things regardless of the truth or outcome with this said, What are black people looking for in a true black leader? I understand that there is some criticism and resistance but this question must be ask. The next question is a critical question and be honest about it what is the image of our black leaders? selfish,self-cente red? You have a chance to air it out here. How would you change this image if you was put in position of authority? Why do you think there are a absence of leadership in our community? We have all these black empowerment groups and etc.., but how and what would you change about them? Last and Finally, Later down the road do you think we would finally have a true voice or say about the conditions and issues we face if so, what issues would you like a group or a leader to bring to the attention of these decision makers?  (Mar 21, 2012 | post #1)

Why so few Black men are working

My brothers and sisters you see it first hand what is going on here. The plan was to never integrate this country in the first place if it was not so why will some one non-minority would suggest such a thing? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and views, but do you understand that people still has this idea that we are not meant to be here. If I am taking this a little out of context excuse me, but it seems that the problem is us, not the system? What if the system was turn on it head and we was saying the same thing, would there not be riots in the streets and the same cries of oppression? The solution is still in our reach, but if we can not be part of the solution why bother? This country is not going to hell in a hand basket because of black or white, are hatred it's falling apart because we still look down on those who are down on their luck. We can call it whatever, but there has been no good to ever come from mistreating the poor or homeless. The solution starts there if you solve that moral ethical problem then, the other problems will start to reveal solution to each. No, this is not a form of socialist movement either but commonsense would have kick in somewhere. If we can involve them in the process and voice their concerns you would be surprise to find out that they have ideas that might get them out the situation and further help the economy.  (Mar 2, 2012 | post #5016)
