What would be a better name for West Union?

Everyone knows how they are changing the street names and all that. Well while we are changing names of things. Lets change the name of out town. I vote for either Gossipville, WV or Hellburg,WV and if its hellburg might as well make it a state because west virginia's motto is ALMOST HEAVEN so me must not be in West Virginia  (Jun 11, 2009 | post #1)

Route 50 Shuts Down After Tractor Trailer Accident - WBOY-TV

Ok to set the record stright. When Centeral Communications toned out the fire and ems. It was at first Company 1 (WUVFD) Company 3(Smithburg) and Company 5 (DCEMS) Later on during the incedent Company 1 asked centeral to tone out company 2 (greenwood) so centeral toned out greenwood. There siren was broken due to electrical problems. No one responded so Centeral Toned out next due which was PVFD. That is all i know. from that point on i was out of range with my radio in clarksburg so i didn't hear what happened next.  (Apr 20, 2009 | post #15)

Our Vol firefighters need to be commended on all their hard work they did last nite and continuing on today for the power lines down and fires and all that. They are really doing good and they need to be commended. Not only west union, smithburg, greenwood, and pennsboro and surrounding fire departments. Greenwood it seamed like as they would get to one scene they would be called out for another and then another after that. Surprised they even got back to the sation. Anyways just like to say thanks. Columbine parents plead for release of - basement tapes'

Ok I am no longer a Colorado resident. Last time i lived there was in 99 when i was 11 years old. I lived 15 minutes away from that school. I for one as a parent now would like to see those tapes so that i for one will be able to see what a kid looks and acts like before he does something that stupid so i could at least try to help him/her out before people get hurt. that is just my opinion you all can fight all you want but like i said there wouldn't be any harm in realising those tapes. ok this is really getting me upset and concerned and confused. (if that is the right word) I was listening to my radio and heard the bulletin go out about chuck hening being on the run. WTF did he do now. And then i hear them call out company 5 because chuck was lathargic. WTF did the cops do? Did they shoot him??? Did they tase him?? WTF happend. I am like best friends with chuck hening!!!! He has been a good friend and i don't care what ppl say he is a good guy!! I voted for him as sheriff. I hope that he didn't die. They turned 654 around because they didn't need them nemore. To me that says that he died!!! I hope he didn't!!!!! I am praying for you chuck!!!! Can neone tell me WTF is going on??? Doddridge County EMS Under Fire Again

Ok let me ask this question. If we get rid of the DCEMS then where are we going to get the ambulance from? Salem? Ritchie county? and this person is sueing the DCEMS for beind too late or something like that? Well if the ambulance has to come from salem or ritchie then we are all going to be doomed. You think that 655,654,or 656 run late sometimes? Try having ritchie or salem arrive on time. How long do you think its gonna take another department to arrive on scene? Especially the outlying areas of doddridge county? Just my thoughts on the whole subject. You can either agree or disagree but my opinion is they are doing the best they can with the options they are givin. Give them the contract because it will be alot harder on us if we have to resort to salem or Ritchie for an ambulance  (Dec 8, 2008 | post #206)
