I know we have changed the subject here, oh well. Jacksonville does have alot of great history but I never knew about the subway, I wonder if they sold sandwiches :). That's interesting but I can't believe it lasted very long, because subways and hurricanes don't mix. The area near the Landing use to be Sear's and I saw pictures of that area flooded because of the storm surge duing the hurricane in 1964. (May 20, 2008 | post #16)
