The Devil you Know is better than the one you Don't (Oct 15, 2010 | post #234)
Gotta beware Tea Party Repubs (Oct 15, 2010 | post #213)
Go to Snopes.com and you will see this was, as much of right-wing hate propaganda is, completely flse and repudiated by the US Military. Can hate and fear win this election? It is surely the hope of ignorant myopics within the Republican Party. Don't worry though, the bag of crap left for whichever candidate wins will still be controlled by Big Money, just as it has since Religion usurped Logic and Truth as a Platform Foundation Plank. God Bless Us All, we're gonna need it! (wink/fake smile/wink) (Oct 20, 2008 | post #168)
Not one threat stopped since its inception. Security by BSO, FDLE, US Customs, etc. Thank God so many can earn so much OT. What a scam. (Oct 13, 2008 | post #2)
We are lucky there is any protection still in place for animals, though I agree they are weak. Think Alaskan Wolves. Hope they catch this reptile reaper. (Oct 10, 2008 | post #2)
Enjoy the Recession! It will only be one for a while.... :) (Oct 10, 2008 | post #11)
Maybe a Postal Worker? (Oct 9, 2008 | post #43)
To not serve fries still does not mean your job/duty as a cop is to be a bully. The arrogance which differentiates a good cop and a bad one is often discernible in everyday performance. Because 'to protect and serve' is not on your cruiser does not mean it isn't in your job description. Please be aware the general law-abiding public respects and appreciates LEOs, but do not mistake that most would rather avoid them in most day-to-day life occurences. Thanks for being our public servants, officers. Obey and enforce the law with respect. Keep cool. (Aug 13, 2008 | post #449)
Very true. Without safety standards, we may as well be in the Third World......officia lly, I mean. Hire Union Work Union United we stand, divided we fall. Pun intended. (Aug 13, 2008 | post #58)
Even the Port Dock workers may be glad to say CYA. (Aug 12, 2008 | post #48)
The good ole US of A. Home of the Accountant, Land of the Tax-Free Corporation. So nice of the press to present this as news. (Aug 12, 2008 | post #71)
Did anyone else catch the tear-jerker vigil held by friends and family of POS tellin their "what a great boy" recollections to the press? (Aug 12, 2008 | post #61)
The THC isn't a big deal, but now some ACLU guy can't argue the Vicodin was for an old baseball injury.... (Aug 12, 2008 | post #1453)
Rodger that. Got Conseco's number? Remember, on the serious side, that it isn't very easy to be on the street with threats from many true POS criminals always a possibility. If you as an officer are attacked w/ pepperspray or somnething non-lethal, a bodyshot or two extra(hopefully not a gunshot!) are to be expected. But if standards are not held up and steroids are used, the whole equation becomes skewed towards anarchy. Have no fear, we will be there sooner rather than later, one way or the other. Enjoy the Recession! ;) (Aug 12, 2008 | post #325)
