Should the US have universal healthcare?
A very slight majority is against national health care, something that every developed and many developing countries have. These anti national health care morons are not unlike the idiots who voted for Bush twice. Re:hey asswipe frankie, how the fu&k are we going to pay for it dip sh+t?! frank frank: by getting the gates and buffets to pay their fair share in taxes in percentage terms. It's despicable that not only do these fat cats legally avoid paying taxes by creating their own halos with their own egotistical "write off" giving to "nonprofit/en trepreneurial " charities(NOT). It is utterly obscene these creeps are allowed to give billions to "charities " and pay less % in income tax than the average Josh and Jenna. In fact if you had a flat tax(no deductions for anything, especially not for "charity') and one slightly higher for the bill gates class, this country would be collecting 50 to 100% more revenue so that we could have a national health care service, fix our falling bridges and pot holed roads, etc. (May 25, 2008 | post #20277)

There is no one reason for homicide in America. It certainly isn't the right to bear arms. Since Switzerland has a militia based defense, every man is requiered to own and practice using his firearms. A homicide there is as frequent as the appearence of a comet. It isn't just gansta culture either. While the af-am demographic may have a higher per capita homicide rate than within the white demographic, the latter's total is actually higher. Illegal drugs are certainly a contributor. However lift the manufacture, distribution and sale from the underground market, the astronomical profits blow away, and the lilly white launderers and their killer gangs have to find another profession, or look for a crime that is in all probability more visible thus more controllable by law enforcement. Also the vanishing of the intergenerational neighborhood due to, for one, the motor transport and roadway disconnected society, are some more reasons for anomie and violence. If "drugs" we're sold on the free market, or given out at clinics at cost, these thugs wouldn't have made the astronomical profits on the black market to buy helicopters and armaments. You win the war on drugs the same way we won the war on alcohol and gambling. You take the market out of the hands of thugs and lilly white drug launderes(e.g. House of Windsor, Bush Family, House of Saud, et al), i.e. you legalize it. btw, I think Heston was a great actor. Also admired him for his early support of the civil rights movement back in the early 60's. Check out "Soylent Green". But to get elected in this insane winnner takes all, antiproportional system, you have to revise or apoligize to the sheeple of America every other day. The only way you defeat the lilly white front money laundered wealthy, the astronomical profits, and in this case the deadly killer gangs is to legalize drugs. Putting alcohol back on the legal market and legalizing gambling took the product and service out of the hands of thugs, thus virtually eliminating the violent crime associated with its sale and distribution.
