Dublin ready to welcome more than 4,000 homes

Dublin has good schools, many restaurants, and it's centrally located. They just put in a new sports complex. At least we don't have homeless people defacating in the downtown like Livermore. Oh, and San Ramon has a downtown? Give me a break.  (Sep 17, 2010 | post #9)

How come no Section 8 in Danville?

Seriously, these are older communities with almost exclusively single family homes. There's a low inventory of apartments, so section 8 is not present.  (Jun 28, 2010 | post #10)

Livermore is a great town.

I like Livermore also. We've been going to the Livermore water park and it's great! However, I'm not sure I like the jab at Dublin. What the heck? What's your beef with Dublin ?!  (Jun 23, 2010 | post #8)

How come no Section 8 in Danville?

I have to sympathize with the OP on this one. It's almost impossible to pickup a prostitute or score crack off Main Street in Danville. It would save me a trip to Antioch if they'd just let in some section 8.  (Jun 22, 2010 | post #8)

Dublin Muslim Community Center

Everyone who reads this please visit the site http://www.thereli and spend at least as much time reviewing the information on the site as you spend responding to this question I posed (if you have only a minute scroll down half way to the list of incidents). I respect freedom of religion. However, we shouldn't be blind to what's happening in the world. These types of facilities are breeding grounds for extremism (Remember the terrorist from the Lodi Muslim community). Also, unless you've reviewed the textbooks and detailed lesson plan you can't honestly confirm there's no problem, can you? There were Saudi sponsored Muslim schools in Virginia that were investigated and when the textbooks were reviewed they found a lot of hateful type of lessons being tought. Remember the lack of response from the US Muslim community after 911? I certainly do. Remember the cheering and celebrations around the Muslim world after 911 as if they had scored a touchdown in a college football game? I do. Yes, 90% are probably peace loving and good citizens. It's the 10% we need to worry about...  (Sep 14, 2009 | post #3)
