Mitochondrial Eve And Humanity's 100,000 Year Genetic Divide
An amazing display of semiliteracy. Does school stop in the 6th grade in Oklahoma now? (May 17, 2008 | post #19)

So you aren't "prolife " at all. You just want to dictate who is worthy of life and who is not. (Dec 16, 2007 | post #198)

Prove that the products of conception even have a soul. Even the Roman Catholic Church used to specify that ensoulment occurred weeks after conception. And actual scripture says that with a breath you "become a living soul." (Dec 16, 2007 | post #197)

With all due respect, you do not know reproductive technology near as well as you seem to think. What you say about RU486 is not exactly correct, since it seems to state that some physical intervention is needed. A second drug, misoprostol (Cytotec), is given to soften and dilate the cervix and stimulate contractions to expel the terminated pregnancy. Misoprostol, by the way, can be purchased legally over the internet and taken in the first 8 weeks is better than 90% effective in terminating a pregnancy used alone. In the early days with RU486, the misoprostol was inserted vaginally by a health care provider on a second visit, but now is most often given orally. The woman takes the RU486, then the Cytotec as directed at home. Actual medical intervention is only needed if the contents of the uterus are not expelled. You are also ill informed about herbal and other OTC abortion methods. There are some that are quite effective in early pregnancy, and comparatively safe. I had a student use a recipe under her interested doctor's supervision and monitoring. She did US before and after to confirm both pregnancy and successful termination. The total cost for the herbs was less than 20 dollars, and that doctor now recommends it to women who want to terminate who wish to try it. You obviously have some good information, but it is not complete. And you are right that women really need medical back-up. Should these vile antichoicers succeed, that may become a luxury. Fortunately, the founders of this nation were a lot smarter than you: "that they were endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these were life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." (Dec 16, 2007 | post #193)

Yes, but many these same "innocent unborn" boo-hooers also claim that we are born corrupted by original sin. (Dec 11, 2007 | post #100)

Because, you ignorant twit, late term abortions are virtually always for serious fetal defects or for maternal illness that is life threatening. It's not up to you to decide what is "OK" for another woman. (Dec 11, 2007 | post #99)

And what are yours? "I worked at a clinic" could mean you were the janitor, although most good clinics have higher standards for employees. (Dec 11, 2007 | post #98)
I get so freaking tired of you morons who piously blame the Bible for your pig headed arrogant ignorance. The Bible does not consider the fetus to be a person. The first breath defines a "living soul." Abortion was known at the time and never forbidden. In fact, a pregnant woman being tried for adultery was give an abortifacient drug ON THE ORDER OF GOD according to the texts. Harming a pregnant woman so that she miscarried was only worth a fine. It also amazes me how many of you clowns claim the Ten Commandments forbids killing but just love war and the death penalty. (Dec 11, 2007 | post #32)
Actually, what is obvious is that your are so full of excrement that after an enema you would be clear. (Dec 11, 2007 | post #31)
Well, gee, I still think Bush sucks. I hate his actions, not the pathetic near man that he is. That hysterical propaganda site isn't worth a bucket of warm spit. What if that potential child aborted might have been a cruel dictator? What if it was a child molestor or a mass murderer? Do you people ever manage to use your brains for anything except ear spacers? As for your little pig buddy Bush, would this be the same life loving man who refused to stay a single execution as governor? The one who made fun of a condemned woman for declaring her faith? The one who is directly to blame for tens of thousands of deaths in Iraq? Yeah, talk to me about this (cough, cough) "prolife " hero. You know, the one who loves fetal tissue more than people dying and suffering from conditions stem cells might treat. You please read and think about that instead of trotting out the same old garbage propaganda. (Dec 11, 2007 | post #30)
