Who would like Darwins Theory of Evolution taken out of o...

There were no "fresh red blood cells"... What's really interesting is that the material confirmed the close Bird\Dinosaur relationship... that pesky evolution again!  (May 22, 2012 | post #48606)

Evolution vs. Creation

Right... But that's not really what scientists say, is it?  (May 22, 2012 | post #27520)

Evolution Debate

Evolution vs. Creation

Certainly the scientists I have worked with run the gamut from atheist to religious... Some are atheists, some agnostic, majority Christian, and a number who are Jewish or Islamic... The tiniest minority are fundamentalists\cr eationists; one can't do a lot of science with Ken Ham's or Kent Hovind's versions of "reality "!  (May 22, 2012 | post #27519)

Sentiments aren't science. I just can't BELIEVE your sentiments, therefore, they are untrue...  (May 21, 2012 | post #27365)

Well, Oaks and Elms are DEFINITELY faster runners than ferns:)  (May 21, 2012 | post #27364)

Sure! No killing, wars, slavery, etc., EVER happened before Darwin. Gott mit uns. Sigh...  (May 21, 2012 | post #27356)

Well... DARN! I was planning to attend Memorial Day Services this next Monday. .....Do we still have time to have the cookout on Sunday though?  (May 21, 2012 | post #27352)

Evolution Debate

It's the Darwin crowd that lacks the facts in evolution d...

Utterly untrue... ALL geologic data contradicts such nonsense. The 'Flood'? Every strata, every rock type in all places indicate a complex, ever-changing series of different landscapes in different places at the SAME TIME. In other words, there IS NO 'world-wide flood layer', and not even a hypothetical explanation of how such an event could occur (explanations from creationists are outlandish fantasy claims...NOT science!). Rocks, radiometric and other types of dating techniques, fossils... all clearly point to an ancient planet, long-filled with ever-evolving life forms. No one has produced ANY evidence that contradicts that statement.  (May 21, 2012 | post #89588)

Thank you... Probably not going to be around quite as much as before, but I'll keep an eye on the place:)  (May 20, 2012 | post #27263)

Evolution vs. Creation

Talk Origins? It's infinitely superior to any creationist source (Conservapedia, Ken Ham, etc...)! Why would your opinion about it have ANY validity? Your statement is absurd; try reading some real science books for geology, paleontology, and evolutionary knowledge.  (May 20, 2012 | post #27202)

The Theory of Evolution is false because:

Creation versus evolution debate

Exactly... "Carpet bombing" indeed! It may take hours to present the facts to refute 5 minutes of idiocy.  (May 20, 2012 | post #7)

Evolution Debate

The Theory of Evolution is false because:

Absolutely silly! And a typical claim... Species generate gradually... it's not like "B" just pops out of "A"... and then another "B" (of the opposite sex!) has to magically appear at the same time! In the REAL world, populations gradually change; there is no one time and place where a new species forms! Instead, over time, 2 separate populations gradually drift apart as differences between them increase. If (eventually) the 2 populations re-encounter each other, the accumulated differences may prevented them from interbreeding... which is what makes a new species.  (May 20, 2012 | post #91)
