What is up with the roads around here. They are in horrible condition, and has anyone seen the shape that the prince bridge is in?....its in scary bad shape.  (Oct 5, 2011 | post #1)

Alan Taylor

Alan Taylor just became a father. I'm not sure who the mommy is or if they are together but he is not with Shawna anymore. I would actually like to know who the mother to his baby is if anybody out there knows.  (Jul 30, 2011 | post #4)

justin scruggs

Really??? What is the point of posts like this? Justin Scruggs is a good guy and his girlfriend deserves the respect not to be subjected to reading this type of post about the two of them. Let's try and saying something positive about people on here for a change.  (May 31, 2011 | post #4)

Discussion of Substance

My personal belief is that it is a choice. While both factors may have an influence, it is up to the person what they do with those influences. Any negative can be turned into a positive and vica versa. We all have a choice concerning the path we take in life, sometimes you simply have to be strong enough to be your own person and not allow environment to change who you really are.  (May 31, 2011 | post #3)

A Message from the Louisiana Alliance of Wiccans

How do you think the Bible was written??? Especially the prophecies, such as Revelations or Jesus' prophecies??? Did Jesus not raise the dead?? How can your book speak against the very gifts that were used to write the bible and make a name for Jesus??? If these gifts are an abomination, is the bible itself??? Not criticizing, just trying to understand...I was raised Baptist and these are things I never understood so if you can, in all your infinite wisdom explain this to me, I would be eternally greatful.  (May 24, 2011 | post #215)

Be Careful What You Wish For

That's a very important point to make. I think that's one of the reasons why studying is so important in Paganism. An individual should really be aware of what they are doing before they begin to practice. It is not something to be entered into lightly, and too many people "dabbling " with magic rather than going through the process of study and careful consideration have seen negative effects of the craft.  (May 24, 2011 | post #2)

theft

This is becoming a huge problem in our community. I lived in Baton Rouge, LA for 3 years and didn't have to worry about theft as much as I have around here lately. It becomes really scary, considering events that have happened recently, whereas the robberies were held with weapons. I have small children and this scares me but I know how to use weapons myself, so I'm sure I don't have to worry about anybody stepping out in on me. I think what needs to be done, in the absence of law, is that some of the good citizens of this town should ban together and form a neighborhood watch. Anybody interested, post here and we'll see what we can do about forming some kind of a group which will keep a watch for those who can't.  (May 24, 2011 | post #7)

Favorite game system?

No, you're not old. Pong is a great game, that is why it has been recreated on every format imaginable. I was fortunate enough to be born at the right time to grow with the evolution of gaming, and have played virtually every system that has ever been created. Some of the original games are my favorites.  (May 24, 2011 | post #6)

Discussion of Substance

Let's see how many philosophers frequent these boards, and try to start a conversation of substance. The basics of philosiphy pose the argument: nature vs. nurture. That being, is an individual a product of thier environment or are most traits inherently natural within individuals??  (May 24, 2011 | post #1)

Favorite game system?

Hmmm....this is a tough one. I own both the Playstation 3 and XBOX 360 with a kinect and a move. I would say that I like them both equally. The file sharing for the Playsation is better, as it accepts a more diverse multitude of video formats. As for my favorite video game, that would have to be "Zombies Ate My Neighbors" for the Super Nintendo...yea, I'm old school.  (May 24, 2011 | post #2)

does this make me a bad person? pagans veiw

If the dog is barking constantly, it is probably not being taken care of properly. Barking is the chief means of communication for a dog, and he/she could be barking constantly because his/her need for attention isn't being met. As we are supposed to love and nurture our pets, you definately did the right thing.  (May 24, 2011 | post #3)
