Horse Riding Lessons in Hickory, North Carolina

Yes, I do agree that the economy has been hard on folks. All of the labor at Foothills is provided by working students. Students may work off all or part of the cost of riding while learning job skills and developing a resume. Our college programs offer scholarship opportunities and the competing riders get a lot of financial support from local businesses who support the development of leadership and teamwork in young adults. We do our best to make the positive aspects of horsemanship available to all who wish to enjoy it. The world is a better place for the gift of horses. Maybe you should try it too! There are worse places you can spend your time and energy. I am interested in all comments!  (Nov 19, 2010 | post #5)

Adult Horseback Riders in Hickory North Carolina

My experiences learning and teaching Centered Riding (r) have shown me that it is possible to ride much more effectively and without pain, soreness or resistance form your horses by using the techniques the masters do by second nature. You can ride more comfortably and naturally regardless of your style, age, or level. If you are acquainted with Sally Swift's books you have only glimpsed the tip if the iceberg. To fully appreciate what Centered Riding can do you must experience it for yourself. I teach at Foothills Eq. Ctr. in Bethlehem, close to Hickory. We also have CR clinics scheduled in the near future. You do have to bring your own horse to these clinics. Please visit our website, www.foothillsweb.c om to learn more about current schedules and offerings.  (Nov 18, 2010 | post #1)
