Centrelink begin welfare ban on booze, tobacco
It's about time government/public servants took more responsibility in how welfare payments are handled. Public housing rent should be deducted from Centrelink payments before the GROSS amount is sent out. It really is gross how many people think it is their right to be a welfare recipient. He doesn't seem to have the human resource skills of a person in the hiring and firing game. The mining industry Australia wide can't get enough skilled workers to get the ore out of the ground. At the moment it wouldn't matter what nationality a potential worker was, if they had the qualifications their application would not be binned because a " manager " didn't like their name. I expected so much and got so little for my ABC tax dollar. Is it worth tuning into another exciting episode tonight ? (Jul 3, 2012 | post #275)

Hi there Anton. Looks like there is another person who doubts your managerial skills. (Jul 3, 2012 | post #133)

I assumed nothing about your nationality other than you are not an Australian. (Jul 3, 2012 | post #132)
Of course you care or you would not have replied. (Jul 3, 2012 | post #17)
I love it, an uneducated dolt like you tossing around words like simpleton. My guess is you learnt that word when you parents continually read it on your school report card. Tony and the tax cuts. As soon as the Liberals get into power the first announcement they will make is........the economy and budget are in worse shape than we imagined, at this time it is impossible to undo what Labour has done. It's a great excuse and should see them through the first term of office After all......people like you believe what Tony says is gospel. Next you'll be telling me that Tony and the Cronies will give back the minerals tax too. (Jul 2, 2012 | post #13)

Abbott has already declared he will repeal the carbon tax during the first week in office. He'll also have to take back the tax cuts and stop the handouts to minimum wage earners. I don't doubt the Liberals will win the next election and soon after all these people who are bitching about the socialist agenda of the Labour party will be wanting to get rid of the Liberal reforms that only benefit the wealthy. (Jul 2, 2012 | post #11)
The tax office didn't feel the need to compensate me or anyone in my direct family with a lump sum payment or tax cut to cover increases in the cost of living due to the introduction of a carbon tax. My understanding is most of the money sent to minimum wage earners has already been pissed up against the wall instead of being saved to pay for the increases in the cost of living. How much did you get ? (Jul 2, 2012 | post #10)

I didn't mistake you for who you are. So....you're here to look at the beautiful White women, in some countries you'd have your eyes poked out with a burnt stick for doing that. Employment opportunities and remuneration exceed what YOU could get in India or Indians wouldn't be migrating here. Once again I have to ask, if India and Indians are so good why are you in Australia. Surely Indian women and the weather aren't that bad that you would forsake and denigrate your own homeland. Being opposed to work place immigration does not mean you have to become more racist than the people you are putting down. It's people like you two clowns who give White Australians a bad name. (Jul 1, 2012 | post #79)
