New cell phone law takes effect Tuesday
Sorry, forgot this point, even though I think the conversation is the distraction, I still agree with it. It can't hurt, it can't be a bad thing...I am just not sure it will get the desired results (except to generate some revenue) (Monday Jun 30 | post #13)
New cell phone law takes effect Tuesday
Your exactly right. I think the majority of people only drive with one hand. I keep saying it.....the conversation is the distraction, not the phone, not having only one hand on the steering wheel and the phone in the other! (Monday Jun 30 | post #12)

I never said it wasn't a big deal. I totally agree with the law and I will follow it. I am just saying that everyone has done it probably at least once but people like to get on here and say "Oh Gosh, I have never done that before, how terrible" I still say it will not decrease the accidents you are talking about because the distraction is having the acutal conversation, the distraction is having your mind focused on two things at once. I guess time will tell if it is working or not. (Monday Jun 30 | post #11)
New cell phone law takes effect Tuesday
I talk on my cell phone and drive myself. Not ashamed to admit. I will follow the law and get one of the blue tooth things but come on...everybody does it. I honestly don't believe anyone who says they haven't. Do I think the law will be enforced? No, it won't. Do I think it will solve the problem? No, because it the distraction of the conversation that is the issue, not the hands on hands off business. Just my opinion... (Monday Jun 30 | post #7)
Why does Ricky act like a ten year old?
I think 10 years old is too generous. My six year old has better manners. (Thursday Jun 26 | post #30)

Tomatoes Pulled from Shelves, Salmonella Linked to One Death
Oh gosh, I am so crushed that our paths will never cross, what I am going to do! Only point I can and will agree with you on is the gas. I don't buy gas where the price is mis-marked either. I know for a fact that my integrity is not measured by where I shop for my shampoo and if you do I think that says less about you than does me. (Jun 11, 2008 | post #30)

Uh, go back and look at the post Sac Girl was responding to because I think you missed her whole point and the screaming out-loud-sarcasm in her post. (Jun 11, 2008 | post #53)

You seem really stuck up to me. Walmart has good deals. Nothing wrong with finding a good deal. You seem like the sucker if you want to go buy the same bottle of shampoo at Target for an extra 1.50 more just say that you shopped at Target. Don't get me wrong I frequent both stores often. But there are certain things I buy at Walmart because they are just cheaper. (Jun 11, 2008 | post #26)
I agree. I prefer Pepsi much better than Coke and I like diet pepsi better than regular pepsi. I don't drink it very often though. (Jun 11, 2008 | post #7)
