Is Raiders coach Lane Kiffin trying to get fired?

wow are you seriously still writing in this forum. it's amazing that you're willing to talk trash in a forum of a team that went 4-12 last year. i guarantee you this much the patriots won't even win ten games this year. let's face it ya'll lost your 2 best corners, and your video cameras so you're pretty much screwed  (Aug 28, 2008 | post #10)

whoa buddy you're talking about one of the greatest franchises in the history of football. let's see... ten years ago nobody knew the patriots even existed so take your queer ass back to Boston, and do some homework before you start talkin trash  (Aug 21, 2008 | post #3)

How long before Russell is no longer the QB of the future?

well we did bring in Kwame Harris at left tackle which is definately an improvement and we will have some competition at the center position which usually makes that position better. so hopefully it will be enough for this year but it's definately something we still have to adress n the future  (Jul 21, 2008 | post #6)

How long before Russell is no longer the QB of the future?

i think you have to be patient with him. i mean we see how long it has taken for Eli Manning to develop. and even Peyton Manning strugled his first 2 seasons. I think you have to let him start the whole year and just be patient. but i do think it would be wise to go out and get a veteran QB to be a mentor.  (Jul 21, 2008 | post #4)

Oakland Raider analysis: What were the Oakland Raiders thinking...

the only move this offseason i'm still a little baffled by is the choice of mcfadden over glenn dorsey. everyone knows that our run defense sucked last year so that puzzles me a little bit. and i really hope mcfadden lives up to the hype because a lot of experts think he doesn't have what it takes, and i think he'll be alot like reggie bush... a great slashing, elusive back but can't run between the tackles which makes him easier to defend. but i think the organization was banking on trading jordan to the lions but we'll have to see how that works out  (Jul 20, 2008 | post #7)

June 1st: What happened to the Oakland Raiders cutting Jordan?

i'm not saying i want him on the team i'm just saying we can still get something for him. and like i posted earlier there are teams that may be willing to take him so why CUT him when we can TRADE him. even if its for a draft pick next year its better than nothing  (Jun 8, 2008 | post #7)

June 1st: What happened to the Oakland Raiders cutting Jordan?

why does everyone want him cut so bad. obviously we don't need him on the team, but i think he is good trade bait for at least a draft pick next year and there are several teams around the league who i'm sure would be willing to make a deal for him. like arizona, detroit, and cincinatti just to name a few.  (Jun 2, 2008 | post #1)

AFC West Running Backs from an Oakland Raiders' eye view

i thought he was one of the guys we got rid of. but i totally agree he is one of the better dual threat fullbacks  (May 30, 2008 | post #3)

McFadden could be key to first round

excuse me i didn't specify. i didn't mean he would only be as good as julius jones was. i just meant he will be that type of player. another player who i think will be a steal late in the draft is mike hart.  (Apr 26, 2008 | post #8)

McFadden could be key to first round

i highly doubt it... not in his first year at least. he is a great athlete but he has never had to carry the load. he will be a lot like Julius Jones was in Dallas where he was very talented when he had someone like marion barber to spell him. only McFadden is a little more athletic.  (Apr 26, 2008 | post #1)

Raiders consider trading down in draft

an interesting possibilty is if dorsey falls to us is to trade 1st round picks with the bengals for their 1st and 2nd round picks. then in the 9th position picking sedrick ellis who is a very good run stopper, and in the second round hoping someone like desean jackson from Cal falls to us. he would fill the hole that carr left as a punt/kick returner and give us another decent receiver. the bengals and saints are both willing to pay a high price for dorsey and its something that would definately help us. obviously this all depends on if glenn dorsey falls to us.  (Apr 26, 2008 | post #3)

Report: Dolphins talking with J. Long, Gholston

everybody keeps throwing gholston's name out there. the fact is he has no run stopping ability whatsoever which makes him absolutely useless in a 4-3, which is what the personell we have indicates we will be running. we already have burgess. i think if chris long is still there he is the obvious choice because he can do both, stop the run and rush the passer. dorsey is another great idea to help bolster the run-d. just f.y.i. since 2002 the raiders have finished no better than 20th in the league in run defense.  (Apr 24, 2008 | post #21)

Oakland Raiders

Report: Dolphins talking with J. Long, Gholston

don't get me wrong i definately agree we need help on the o-line, but after jake long there is quite a drop-off in o-line talent. and there is a cluster of guys who i think are good who will be available in the second round. if long is there it's a no brainer we have to take him but i'm willing to bet he won't be. and if you wanna take someone like ryan clady who i have going to the chefs you might as well just trade the fourth pick for a couple of later picks  (Apr 14, 2008 | post #13)
