What is freedom for Cuba? Its certainly not just travel, PC's, internet, etc. as MAXIM asked. Its not having to depend on the government for everything in order to live. Its not being scared of the government when you don't agree. Its having a say in what goes on in your and your childrens lives. What the world as a whole knows about Cuba is what the Cuban government wants them to know. Thee is no Free Press, there is no biased opinion. Whats the solution? Remove the communist system. The average Cuban in Cuba must depend on a black market to receive goods. They are developing a mentality for survival that is unethical but viewed as normal. this is seen in the many that arrive in the US now, looking to make a quick buck, like its done in Cuba. Yes they are educated for the most part but brain washed in the sense that in order to succeed you need to make money quick and by any means. There is 1 reason why Cuba is so poor and that is communism. Even while the Soviet Union was pumping money into Cuba the people did not see a penny. The government keeps this oppression in order to keep the people depending on the government for everything. Dont be mistaken and do some research.
