Fireworks injuries fly higher - Hawaii News

What an idiot. "Only New Years Eve and 4th of July". Nonsense. It starts WELL BEFORE and CONTINUES long after. Your solutions are also nonsense and clearly display your ignorance. LONG LIVE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS!!  (Jan 9, 2010 | post #12)

Fireworks revelry injures 3 on Oahu - Hawaii News

I drove through Waimanolo yesterday morning. Well after the time to ignite fire works was over. There were adults and kids standing on the side of the rode (Kam hwy) lighting stuff and tossing into the road. Complete lack of respect for the law. The parents should be sighted for contributing to the deliquency of a minor, among other things. I hear on the news the Fire Chief calling for a ban (again) and the Police Chief calling for a ban, but where is the enforcement of the illegal stuff being used already? The paper tells us about injuries, but NOTHING about ANYONE sighted for illegal fireworks, except for one guy trying to leave the airport with some stuff.  (Jan 2, 2010 | post #23)

Roadblock continues despite 7 arrests in Laie land disput...

Not at all. I'm assuming that if this family had LEGAL TITLE to the property, the documentation would be readily available. I've owned many properties and have the paperwork to prove it. It was given to me at closing, when I LEGALLY took possession of the property. Copies are retained by the title companies, as well as the state. If these folks don't have any title paperwork, then they don't have legal right to the property. Plain and simple. Making a scene by blocking the road is not helping their cause.  (Dec 30, 2009 | post #84)

UH president warns of layoffs and aid cuts - Hawaii News

Let's put this into perspective. Lay off faculty which means less classes. Less classes mean less students. Less students means less traffic. Works for me!  (Dec 29, 2009 | post #43)

Fireworks retailers optimistic - Hawaii News

Yup and making ALL fireworks illegal will make it easier for the HPD to enforce. Get caught with ANYTHING and you are sighted/arrested. These firworks maniacs have zero consideration for their neighbors. I treat them accordingly. What comes around goes around!  (Dec 27, 2009 | post #11)

"I like the loud kind stuff," Hey, what about your neighbors? What about those of us who have to work the next day and can't sleep because you "like the loud kind stuff". Grow up please.  (Dec 27, 2009 | post #9)
