You are the idiot. Firstly i did not say anything of the sort about Iraq being attacked because of global warming. I was pointing out the double standards of the United States of America. You believe other nations must follow rules and reduce emissions but USA stays the same. As for the environment, under President Fascist Bush the Third World has continued to rot. Dubai was a slave city sponsored by USA industries and so were the Congolese Militias and all those Arabian Sheikhs, Russian Oligarch's and African Warlords have prospered because they held resources that the United States used to feed consumption. The amount of Environmental degradation is appaling. Measures could have been taken to address these problems earlier but since the GOP are bank rolled by energy companies nothing changed. The reason Change has become radical now is because the previous administration failed to address these problems. I applaud Buah for nothing. Many members of the GOP have disowned him since. This then suggests he was never really a Republican and instead was really more of a Blue Dog Democrat who just so happened to represent the Republican party. This is evident by some of Bush's policies and personal life and indeed the neoconservatve movement as a whole. Clinton knew he could not pass that Treaty and Bush did not try but eventually realized he need too. Which brings up an interesting issue. Since the Neocons were going around the world forming the Coalition of the Willing what was the US doing in return. Other countries were obliged to reduce emissions while the US swaggered around saying "Not going to reduce anything, forget about climate change or and another thing your with us on this terrorist war we need troops for Iraq and were calling you in" This petulance is undeserving of such a proud country. Here is what i will end with on this topic. President José Manuel Zelaya Rosales, the elected leader of Honduras. A country that depends on European, American and UN assistance. Having attempted to change the constitution by popular Democratic means in a referendum was awoken one day in his pajamas by the military and removed from the country and sent into exile, leaving his party and supporters under the control of a Kleptocracy. Since that time attempts have been made to negotiate with the unelected Military and opposition. It is against the will of the people of Honduras to recognize the subsequent election without the consent of the opposition. Was it his fault that people got killed on 9/11 as well or alternatively was it that the CIA,FBI and other agencies could not prevent it given the information and the resources they had. As for Bush/Cheney their use of torture has helped to radicalize Muslims making your country less safe. The Iraq war and the Lebanese war were needless wars but one thing was accomplished. Your are completely wrong. Physically assaulting a child is a crime. No parent should have that right. To treat them like that is to build up resentment in future years. It creats disputes within families and subsequent anti social behaviour. The reason for crimes these days are because of drink and drugs. In a society that respects human rights and the right of self defence when provoced Dick Cheney tried to legislate this behavior. Terrorists must be treated as an enemy class of people. This also gives rise to the notion of community militias who may take the law into their own hands to seek retribution. Loyalist Paramilitaries in Belfast and Chetniks in Bosnia engaged in this vigilante behavuiour. Militias in Africa also. And all this happened on a Republican winning streak. Reagan, Bush Sr pumped billions into the armaments industry and when Clinton came to power he faced a Congress stacked with so called Compassionate Conservatives. During that period US debt actually dropped prior to the housing bubble. It was government action post 9/11 that caused today's crisis not government action before it. Had their been no meltdown we would be acknowledging the positive poverty relief Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac created. It was when the White house sold itself completely to Wall Street during the turbulent days of 9/11 and Iraq War. Both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were not Government banks but were subsidised by the government. President Bush therefore did essentially nationalise these banks. These banks main priority was to make a profit out of giving homes to the poor. They were however banks. (Tuesday Dec 8 | post #104)

Bush supported Georgia in a confrontation with Russia and he also had plans to attack Iran infact if McCain was in power those 30000 troops would not be going to Afghanistan to attack the Taliban he would send 40000 troops to Iraq and Afghanistan to stay their for 100 years to contain Iran. Remove the troops of the streets and ask the people who will they vote for. Also i would like know how democratic a constitution is. Countries around the world have referendum's on changing the constitution all the time. How much Power does the Honduras parliament have and as you metnioned does the President not have in a Presidential Republic greater power.?
