Ron Paul bags 2nd place in Nevada

He does scare the media with his plain talk and common sense. The race remains wide open and Ron Paul has a fighting chance.  (Jan 19, 2008 | post #22)

News on abortion just got worse

You are right. Abortion is ingrained in our culture, unfortunately. As a taxpayer, I would rather pay for contraception than an abortion.  (Sep 7, 2007 | post #457)

News on abortion just got worse

AMI STL, Thanks for providing the link. I read many of the stories, including the stories of the women who had abortions before it became legal in 1973. A common thread; most of the women believed that the life that was ended by the abortion was not yet a child. I disagree.  (Sep 7, 2007 | post #456)

News on abortion just got worse

I know a number of people who have had abortions. Each one bitterly regrets it. Pregnancy is temporary. Abortion is forever If there is anyone who had abortion and does not regret it, I would like to hear their story.  (Aug 28, 2007 | post #79)

BlackMountainNews.com: Tiger in the Valley

Rumor has it that the Seven Falls people threw a party at Biltmore house for a bunch of Northeastern prospects. Now, with this drought bringing the water levels of the rivers down, this may turn off some prospective buyer, since the French Broad runs right by this new development, and the so called river club is a highlight  (Aug 25, 2007 | post #4)

Henderson plant may lose 200 jobs

Let's give management the benefit of the doubt. At least they are giving the employees a chance to negotiate a way to stay. Unfortunately, that will mean a big reduction in pay and benefits.  (Aug 25, 2007 | post #6)

You are right-we should be watchful for this type of thing and be ready to act to save children and pets. There is a lot of stupidity out there.  (Aug 16, 2007 | post #4)

Thanks to Mr. and Mrs, Vertefeuille for saving that baby's life? As for the mother forgetting her baby(?) let the mom spend 30 minutes alone in her car with the windows rolled up so she will understand the terrible thing she did to her baby.  (Aug 15, 2007 | post #1)
