Casey Anthony - Portland, OR

They wait four days to report her missing, and we're expected to believe that Grandma thought it would be a better idea to Google 'chloroform' and 'neck-breaking' right beforehand? Sorry, but I'm not buying it!  (Aug 26, 2011 | post #8)

portland naked bike ride

I agree; I think we should stop doing it. Naked bike riding is a great way to cuts or lacerations, broken toes, tetnanus, or skinned anything.  (Aug 26, 2011 | post #22)

should portland ban pitbulls

As a matter of fact, a recent study by the Applied of Animal Science determined that the three breeds most likely to attack people are 1: dachsunds 2. chihuhuas 3. JACK RUSSELLS While Jack Russell may have a reputation as sweet dogs (and believe me, I think they truly are because I have had 2 and talked to many other owners!), pit bulls have a very bad reputation. You may want to read this article from a few years back: http://fortheloveo fthedogblog.com/ne ws-updates/the-mos t-aggressive-dog-b reeds-dachshund-1 Pitbulls are only responsible for approximately 5% of dog attacks against humans per year and 8% of all attacks altogether. You do have to watch them more around other dogs, as the percentages of attack are honestly higher there, but that's what fences and leashes are for. Responsible dog owners have both, and it's seriously the owner's responsibility to keep their dogs out of oter people's yards no matter what the breed is.  (Aug 25, 2011 | post #26)

should portland ban pitbulls

Helen Keller's family actually had pitbulls---as a blind and deaf woman, she was probably stepping on or tripping over them all the time, and they never mauled her. Every single person I've ever talked to who has has a pitbull seems to say the same thing, that it is lazy or abusive owners who ruin the dogs, so I am inclined to believe them.  (Aug 24, 2011 | post #24)
