Five keys for the Vikings to make a championship run

He is averaging exactly 32 attempts per game which is a lot but he threw the ball a lot in two games which inflates this stat. He is around 26-28 a game, a bit too much but he can handle it.  (Sunday Nov 8 | post #24)

Favre throws 4 TD passes in triumphant return to Lambeau as Vik...

Yeah, it was just Favre on the field, noone else, he is surrounded by an all-star cast now in Minny. Did you know there were 11 men on the field at a time?  (Sunday Nov 8 | post #214)

A play or two in key games using the Cat will be fine, agree with civitas tho, it would be cool to see some trick plays, maybe when Berrian is full speed. How about a bubble screen to Harvin.  (Sunday Nov 8 | post #21)

Agree with using a lot of blitz packages thru-out the game, also think putting Percy in at QB once in a while to run the Cat is a good idea, not to often but used at the right times it can keep defenses off balance, remember Percy was also a rb in college.  (Sunday Nov 8 | post #17)

That's because they are playin so deep to prevent the big play which we still seem to give up late in games lol.  (Sunday Nov 8 | post #7)

Yeah the bye did come in perfectly, right after 3 tuff games and then we have 3 home ez ones. I think Williams is gonna step it up in the second half Jazz, I do, he has a big contract and is due to produce, we need more picks but overall pleased, especially going 2-1 the last 3 with a heartbreaker in Pitt., but we got the loss out of the way so noone is hanging that undefeated tag over us the rest of the way. Feel bad for Taylor, numbers are down, not used as much cuz of Harvin but oh well it is a businees and Percy has been a unbelievable surprise talent, I thought if we gat just some production from the rookie it would be a plus but going from bottom to top on special teams-wow.  (Sunday Nov 8 | post #4)

Eric it's that same stupid troll who stole my name last month and posted under favre and sage/booty/ he just changes names all the time, gets no attention from people in real life so he comes here, negative attention is better than no attention in his book, loser.  (Sunday Nov 8 | post #35)

Not to mention all the missed tackling which doesn't help the cover 2 scheme, tackling is a prerequisite to this scheme.  (Sunday Nov 8 | post #9)

Is it possible to throw in different defensive schemes though once in awhile, it seems like the cover 2 does give up huge chunks of yards at times, especially when we play it soft with the safeties in the end zone stands with the fans.  (Sunday Nov 8 | post #8)
