Prove there's a god.

I've said what I wanted to say here. It's time for me to move on, because the nonsense that's said in this thread isn't doing anything for my soul. I've gained nothing in the few weeks being here. I thought I'd learn something from someone or another point of view. That hasn't happened. I feel for those that utilizes their days typing back and forth to the same "screen names" all day long, morning, noon and night. There's a big world out there. The time spent talking about nothing on a message board can be utilized volunteering, helping someone, being part of a group thing, performing good deeds, working, etc., but yet, your time, space and energy is wasted on something as lazy as this. So sad. Peace! I'm out.  (Oct 4, 2012 | post #545710)

Let? This is a message board. How can I stop someone from "typing? " A man wouldn't have ran from a few words being said to him. Are you SURE that was a man, and not some kid or teenager? Men don't run from women... do they? The mere fact that this person stopped "typing" after a post tells me that it quite possibly was not an adult.  (Oct 4, 2012 | post #545706)

Why not just stick to being a man and stay out of a woman's way? I go to sleep, and you're here. I get up and you're here. If you didn't have so much time on your hands, to talk nonsense all day ABOUT NOTHING, then you wouldn't have time to worry about what a woman does with her kids; or how she raises her kids. You're grouping ALL KIDS together, when you know that not all kids are "good kids." No matter how well you raise them, PEER PRESSURE will change one in a second. Yeah, you do the best raising them, but you can't follow them around everywhere and you can't carry them IN YOUR POCKET. So it is what it is. I don't believe you actually believe what you're saying. You're typing these nit-picking words to get a response from a woman. Gosh! What a life... to live and breathe on a message board.  (Oct 4, 2012 | post #545702)

Talking about character Lot's wife? "But his wife looked back at him, and she became a pillar of salt." That's pretty easy, huh? People turning into salt? LOL!! Do we fold our arms and blink like Jeannie? The stories gets worse and worse and worse. But you know what... the issue isn't with these unrealistic stories. The issue is that there are actually people in this day and age that believe that. THAT'S what is so unbelievable.  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #545630)

Because it's people doing these things... and as you can see, God allows us to do what we want. That was part of the "agreement " in volunteering to come here -- that we have free will. My understanding is that everything is One... not separate entities. We are all ONE. And since that's the case, then nothing is really happening to anyone. It's all an illusion. When you dig into what really is, you find things... you remember things. I remembered that I have no one to forgive or nothing to forgive because I'd only be forgiving myself. None of this is real... it's a reality that we created in order to exist in this plane. When you take on "this" stance, then life becomes much much easier; much simpler. God is interacting with God. The object IS THE SOUL. This is where people get confused... trying to make it about the "physical body / the human being" when that's not what life is about. It's about what lessons are the SOUL learning? How is the SOUL growing? The operative word here is: SOUL You have to look beyond what your eyes are seeing because they don't always provide an accurate picture of what really is. What if a soul decided to incarnate to this planet for just a little while... let's say a year. Not looking at the fact that it's a 1-year-old child... there's a SOUL in there. We can't sit here and guess or think we know what happened. That's between God and that particular Soul. Look at the bigger picture. We are not these bodies, so why make it about that? The reason we are here is a SPIRITUAL REASON... we simply have a body in order to exist. What are we learning spiritually? How are we growing spiritually? If someone has something tragic happen to them, how did that tragedy help the soul? Because afterall, what the Soul learns here, it takes back home. When you get out of school, you go home. Same thing with Soul. When it's done here on earth school, it goes home.  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #545628)

Right. All nicely cooked up and served on a platter. Mustard, anyone? Can someone pass the salt?  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #545611)

Prove there's a god.

Who said God drowned anything? A book? I don't happen to believe in any of that nonsense. None of it makes an ounce of sense. It all started with the Energy we call God. That Energy took on other forms, while remaining intact as it was. WE are that Energy in another form. There's the Non-Physical God (The Energy) and then there's the Physical God (us). My view is I am God MANIFEST. I am Soul, occupying a physical body in order to exist on this planet. I don't believe in any stories. I am spiritual... so I don't need stories to connect with God. I don't need anything associated with man, especially a murderous book, to define me. The knowledge of who I am comes from within. I'm all about knowing that every single thing that exists is God. That's what was at the beginning, and that's what is present now... as people, places and things. I can't get any clearer than that. I go by what's on the inside of me, not a book. Not a story. Not a bunch of man-made stories that doesn't even come close to making any sense.  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #545609)

I'm not a Christian and don't have any plans on ever being one. It's just ONE out of MANY beliefs, and yours don't trump others. You are all over this board, jumping down people's throats because you can't get others to agree with you; to believe what you believe. And when you can't get them to go along with what YOU think and believe, then here comes the name-calling. Why not simply take a deep breath, CALM DOWN and take this for what it really is... which is a simple message board. It's almost like you feel like you're "King" on a board. You're all over the place, jumping at this person's belief, jumping at that person's belief. Is it really necessary to respond to EVERYBODY? And if you have to talk this long and try so hard to convince others that what you're saying is right, then what does that tell you? It's not working. You need to take a chill pill. I'm picking up on your energy... and you are frantic to speak. You're here, you're there... here, there... all day long.  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #545512)

How many times must you be TOLD? TOLD? Isn't this your own personal belief? When it gets to the point where a person is TELLING somebody what they should be thinking, then what that say is one is definitely right and one is definitely wrong. Sure, I post about my experiences and beliefs... but under no circumstances to I TELL someone what to think or believe. As far as I'm concerned, there is no proof of a so-called Garden. Where was it? Exactly what location? What was the Garden's address? See what I'm saying? You are trying to BANG your belief into someone, when a simple sharing of beliefs will do. It doesn't make any difference what they are TOLD. A person's belief is exactly that... "their" belief. It is not MY belief that a garden existed, nor is it my belief that a man outdid the Spirit God by setting things straight. That's just like man... making it appear as a man was greater than God, because if A MAN died for our sins, meaning something needed fixing, then GOD could have done the exact same thing. We are SPIRIT. Notice I didn't say... "Didn't I TELL YOU we're spirit?" It is my belief that we are spirit. You DO NOT send a man to fix a spirit. I'm not saying believe what I'm saying... I'm simply sharing my beliefs... afterall, they ARE mine, right?  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #545500)

Prove there's a god.

I think God abandoned people? It's obvious you haven't read my posts. If I'm sitting INSIDE a house, have I abandoned it? No, because I'm in the house. So if God is INSIDE all of us, how is abandonment possible? How can you abandon what you never left? God has NEVER taken His sight off of us, from the moment of creation until the present. I'm the Physical God, and the God that created me as an "extension " of Himself, is the Non-Physical God. In regards to the first part of your post... I have no idea what you are talking about.  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #545441)

Prove there's a god.

The bible is one great book! God would be proud to be associated with such a great book, especially for children, to read. "Lot and his daughters, the virgin daughters he was trying to give to the Sodomites, go to live in the mountains. Lot turns to drink after all that has happened. While he's drunk, his lonely and perverted daughters take to raping him to get pregnant, which they do." "The bible relates in plain language that she is raped all night while the old man and the Levite sit comfortably inside. In the morning, the Levite finds her lying on the doorstep. He commands her to get up. She does not. She can't. She's dead. She has been raped to death. Unperturbed, the Levite tosses her over the back of his horse and rides back home where he proceeds to cut her into twelve pieces. Each piece is sent to the leaders of the twelve tribes of Israel. The tribes then descend upon Gibeah and kill everyone." So in GOD'S BOOK, you have daughters raping their father and getting pregnant by him, a man offering up his daughter to be raped. She dies from being raped and is cut up into twelve pieces. And then "everybody else" is killed. Yes, this is such a great book.  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #545417)

Prove there's a god.

Let's say, hypothetically speaking, I'm reading a book called "Jane In A Meadow." The book has "Jane" being nice to people, helping others and just being a sweet, loving person. In another chapter, it's revealed that Jane has a hidden side. As the result, she kidnaps a neighbor and keeps him or her locked in a basement torturing them. In another chapter, it's sweet Jane again, being nice and kind to others. So what do I do? Do I SKIP OVER the part about her torturing someone, afterall, it's in the same book? Do I pretend it's not there? Or do I just focus on the good things Jane did, acting like nothing bad is in that book? A book is a book. When you read and acknowledge one part, then you read and acknowledge it all. So how come no one talks about all those gruesome murders in that book? All that unbelievable stuff? All the while, trying to pin it on something that's not of this world... and trying to say A MAN saved a nation of people. If Jesus was going to save us, then why weren't we CREATED TO NOT SIN in the first place? To imply that a man had to come and save us from ourselves, implies that GOD MADE A MISTAKE. That Energy doesn't make mistakes. If later on down the line he had to send a human being to do what He should have done when we were created, then why not simply create us to be perfect? A MAN can't tamper with nor "fix" what God has created, simply because there was nothing wrong to begin with.  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #545329)

Prove there's a god.

My God created Souls. He was done. He left the rest up to us, but we FORGOT who we were. So we instead of being a co-Creator with God, we resorted to stealing, lying, murdering, torturing, etc. So WE'RE useless... not God. People are useless. What are they here for if they aren't going to be god-like?  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #545314)

Care to explain why that book is filled with murders? I don't believe it's the number one book, but then again, that's the only book people carry with them, despite the fact that they have no idea what most of it means. Watch this... "They refused and Antiochus resorted to torture. Antiochus had the arms and legs, as well as the tongue of the first brother cut out off of his body tossed into a skilled in which he was cooked to death." Okay... what's the purpose of this in a book SUPPOSEDLY about God? Might as well toss Jeffery Dahmer in there since they're cooking and eating people... and John Wayne Gacy since they're "torturing " people. But oh yea... that's right. This is a book about GOD. My God is LOVE... and that's what He does. He loves. Not fry up people and serve them on a bun.  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #545311)

Free will is free will. You free to do as you will. Also, why would God say "he'd return" when He never left? Return from where? My understanding is God is EVERYWHERE. I am not religious nor do I attend church. I occasionally attend a "Spiritual Center." I have no religion. My focus is Spirituality.  (Oct 3, 2012 | post #545305)
