After long wait, Birch Bay grocery store to open next week

It will be great having a "Full Service" grocery store in the area for major shopping and a "Beer Cave", wow! After all these years we will still be loyal to our little Bay Center Market as well for quickie items. I would rather go there than drive back out toward the freeway. County Council votes to change speed limits in Birch Bay

I for one am glad to see the speed limit changed to 25 mph year around on BB Drive. I have always enjoyed taking my time enjoying the views while I drive all year around. Heck, we could go back to 10 mph like it used to be years ago on certain parts of the drive! Just chill out, take a deep breath and enjoy what Birch Bay has to offer...  (May 1, 2009 | post #1)

I agree with the feelings that everyone has shared. I have those wonderful memories of the way it once was as that is what I grew up with. I also know that there are many more new and yet unknown memories that will be there for my family in years to come. That is exactly why we decided to buy our home in Birch Bay after all these years to continue living the love of the area.
