The Gay Bible

OutVoice, this was released in New Mexico, and in the U.S.A, with Christianity being the dominant religion, it is not at all absurd to assume that this was based on the Christian bible. It is almost always assumed that the religion being discussed is Christianity if no other is named, at least from my perspective here in Texas  (Dec 2, 2008 | post #17)

Gay Marriage Opponents Want Prop 8 Retroactively Enforced

From the same people who told us that Prop 8 would not be enforced retroactively comes the threat of enacting it retroactively. Nope, no bigotry/hypocrisy here  (Nov 25, 2008 | post #2057)

E-Harmony Becomes Harmonious with Queers

Aww, this might actually be good for them, as now they will receive money from gays seeking the same thing as straights: healthy monogamous relationships.  (Nov 19, 2008 | post #2)

Nationwide Protest of Prop. 8 Nov. 15th

You know, Coretta Scott King, Martin Luther King Jr.'s wife, called for equality for GLBT people, saying her husband wanted equality and justice for all peoples, not just blacks. And why would the day a gay person is elected be detrimental for the country? Sure, if his/her policies were bad, the country would go down a little, but orientation has nothing to do with the ability to lead...  (Nov 10, 2008 | post #71)

What Do We Do Now?? An Answer to The Gay Marriage Bans

The American Psychological Association has said that children raised by homoesexuals are no different than those raised by heterosexuals. As a matter of fact, numerous studies have found there is no negative effects on children raised by homosexuals. People like you just choose to ignore it. Facts are inconvenient, aren't they? http://www.apa.org /pi/lgbc/publicati ons/lgpsummary.htm l  (Nov 8, 2008 | post #14)

What are you going to do to get your rights?

I only say bring your kids if it is something they want to do, not something they feel obligated to do. Regardless of the beliefs of your children, they should not be forced to do this under any circumstances. Dialogue will give your kids more understanding and acceptance than forcing them to "protest. What Do We Do Now?? An Answer to The Gay Marriage Bans

I am so sorry that all the people that supported and campaigned for Obama were not all pro-gay. Obama was overwhelmingly elected in the electorate, do you really think that all those who supported him shared ALL of his views? I'm gay, and it bothers me what those people view, but you have to understand how a presidential campaign works. It isn't all sparkles and flowers and such. I would rather have a person like Obama who has shown that he would work for equal rights by his voting record, than a man who has shown that he won't by his. I am so sorry that you are hurt by the outcome of Prop. 8 and similar votes, but whining about a man who supports equal rights isn't going to get you them. Go out to all you know who don't support gay marriage, or are unsure, and talk to them about why you feel why they should support gay marriage. Because quite frankly, your spam reminds me of will, it is just as bad  (Nov 8, 2008 | post #7)

Open Forum: Do We Have a "Gay Lifestyle?"

Here at college, I've met several gay people who only tell me they're gay after I told them I am because they "don't live the gay lifestyle." They do the same things as I do, class, eat, sleep, yet somehow, because I am out to everyone, I live the gay lifestyle. That can be the only thing that makes me live the lifestyle, in their eyes. And, according to my gay AND straight friends, I am not stereotypically gay... Social conservatives are doing well in their fight to make gays feel bad about themselves.  (Nov 1, 2008 | post #18)

Kathy Griffin's No on 8 Video

I like Kathy. I like her style. And for her, a well-known celebrity, to support the fight for gay marriage, just shows she is a woman for equality. You and many others are setting a precedent, Kathy. Don't stop now  (Nov 1, 2008 | post #4)

They're Baaack: Phelps Clan Picket Funerals of High Schoo...

My god, they have little humanity if they are protesting the deaths of high school kids and college kids. If I were the parents, I would move/change the funeral by a couple hours/miles. I know I wouldn't want to bury my kids with the Phelps near (though the families probably don't have enough to move/postpone)  (Nov 1, 2008 | post #22)
