I am glad this nightmare season is coming bto an end. What more can be said??? Bradley, Miles and Gregg simply BAd deals, PERIOD. Guys like Soto, Fontenot ,and "Fuku" were over rated or had really down years. Myself, I think Zambrano and Soto were simply over weight and played that way. I'm 70 years old and am dam* tired of waiting/L'm 'also running out of time. I think with Bradley gone and the pressure of "having " to win [all hope is gone] we will win a few. Also it sells tickets for next year and improves salary demands for "OUR HEROS!!" how many of these guys will be back next year: Fonteno,Miles,Greg g, Heilman, Scales, Hard-on,and Bradlry???? Which year was a fluke for Soto last or this year??? Will the fans RUSH to the ticket windows in February, probably.?? They throw home run balls back don't they?? The photo with "Game Boy" , it appears Hendry smells something bad very bad at that time. Maybe he should have backed away right then!! Sure let's give the ol' boy another chance. lIKE O.J., the "police" have searched every GOLF COURSE for 50 miles around Ashland and found nothing but 37 used balls and 12 used tees. When asked about the CSI they replied, "WHAT CRIME SCENE? High expectations turn sour for Cubs

My main wish right now is, I wish they allowed FOUL language on here. I can think of any allowable words to describe my feeling art this time. This team from top {GM} to tne smallest midget on the team is way, wat beyond horrorable. Why would a GM shell $30 million to a player who has had trouble EVERYWHEWRE he has "played" if you count the DL. Miles for DeRosa is a joke and Baker is a very average sub. Heilman and Gregg were other team rejects. Soto and Fontenot and Fuld are minors taking up space this year. Remember, "CHIEF Birdseed" worked for then Sec of State George Ryan's BLUE POLICE so he nothing about law enforcement or Crime Scene Investigation. He is "cute" in his uniform, tho. This past weekend, the good people of Ashland had march from the downtown park to the home of the murderous Skinner Clan. Of course the Skinners had no response, just a word from their criminal lawyer, some guy named Noll. This will never be solved because of ties to Cass County officials, alledged. LOL We will be getting a new sheriff here shortly maybe that will help. The Cubs will probably win the World Series before this is solved.  (Aug 28, 2009 | post #137)

Well Cub fans and morons who throw back "home run balls", it is time for our Annual fire sale or as we call it "WAIT TILL NEXT YEARE"!! It is time , after 101 years, to rethink this HOME RUN or nothing nonsense. Our Cubbies have had better luck/ October run with teams that can manufacture runs in ways other than a home run. With all this " brain trust " on the bench: one "Manager " and two ex-major league "managers " , they could play decent baseball in the field and at bat. But no we see the same ol' cra* game after game. Our bench has at best 3 or 4 players that are Little League size and can't even hit there weight while we WAIT. The Cardinals get 3 hits and one run and win 1 to nil. We get 12 hits and 6 runs and LOSE by NINE. Enough said.  (Aug 26, 2009 | post #1)
