Scott Ferguson DWI

As no damage is done to life he is set free to move, it is only when life is hurt DWI or DUI becomes very harsh.  (Nov 17, 2010 | post #182)

Closing boarder is just a virtual talk and truly it needs to have a seroius talk to implement it. DWI/DUI cases are increasing in North America because of these people, drugs enetering the boarder. Government needs to take serious step.  (Nov 13, 2010 | post #22)

DWI ruling not a problem in N.M.

As DesertRat2 wrote Sobriety checkpoints have been an effective law enforcement tool but law still needs improvement and police should not wait and watch irradic driving rather should pull them out to stop worst life risk happenings. But, I dis disagree with "Better for 100 rapists to go free than 1 drunk driver" as a rapist also takes life and disturbs the family and also the DWI. No mercy for both crime.  (Oct 21, 2010 | post #78)

Wife of Sen. Lugar pleads guilty to DWI in Va.

With the first offense she should learn lesson as second DWI charge is going to be harsh with high fine, loss of job, jail, appearing in court and case may become worse in case any person was hit.  (Oct 21, 2010 | post #4)

Sweeney pleads not guilty to DWI

I also think jail time is the NORMAL for a second DWI offense. Sweeney should be equally treated as a normal convict as law is equal for all and it is second DWI charge on him. Whether it is misdemeanor or a felony and if you are asked to appear in a court you should in order to avoid any harsh punishment. There are many drunk driving cases where people who did not harm anyone else and yes they were charged with a felony for the second DWI. These laws are to make the convict know there drunk driving could lead to any other person life loss effect livelihood of many.  (Oct 21, 2010 | post #61)

4th District candidate Collett discloses past DWI conviction

Drunk driving death toll is increasing and DUI is burning issue. I think Teresa Collett being DWI convict twice in six years should address her own problems rather then make a life long career or should not try to make move in politics.  (Oct 21, 2010 | post #30)

Again another illegal drunk driving case with loss that effects an innocent and he suffers hip and leg injury. Heavy fine and jail is mandatory so that the DWI convict should know that it adversely affects both families.  (Oct 21, 2010 | post #4)

GOP strategist Rath charged with DWI

I am really eager to know was he really treated the same way as other DUI or DWI convict??? I think no mercy based on position as law is neutral.  (Oct 21, 2010 | post #2)

Mankato mayor says won't resign after DWI

In spite he gets professional help to fight but I believe the person 18 years with alcohol really cannot overcome easily. So do the law makes for DWI and DUI, drunk driving really mean it?  (Oct 21, 2010 | post #4)
