graham high gets new football coaches
They need somebody that can coach defense!!! They gave up 36 points a game last year....and their defensive coach was named coach of the year in virginia???? How did that happen. Went to the scrimmages last night, and they still can't play defense. (Aug 14, 2010 | post #15)

Don't you people read the papers???? Bluefield has a team in the league this year, BUT kids from Bluefield that have played before have the option to play for another team this seaason, if they were with another team in the past..... I don't believe half of what anybody says on this forum, I can only go by what I have personally experienced and it has been all good at SWDC. Has the state shut them down???? NO!! From hearing all of your nightmarish tales, the place should've been closed a long time ago....Don't buy what these people are trying to sell you, the folks working up there right now are good folks, if they had some bad apples in the past, they're not there now. Taco Bell coming to Bluefield???
I've heard that Taco Bell is coming this fall to the Wal-Mart shopping Center. Anybody else heard this...sure hope so. I also heard that Olive Garden was coming to the Lowe's shopping Center??? Also, town needs to pursue other businesses to come into these vacated buildings over there....Goody's, Movie Gallery, CiCi's still remain vacant.... I've seen windmill farms before and they're not an eyesore, nor do they make a lot of "noise". In fact there would've been about $10,000,000 infused into the community over the next few years....We needed that money for the schools and to draw in more business. Not to mention the jobs created for building and maintaining these windmills. Let's just keep things the way they are and never progress. (Jul 31, 2010 | post #4)
