grade school in Brooklyn. They huddled us all into the auditorium to tell us it happened. It was traumatic. This was something that was supposed to only happen in 3rd World countries. It's when I learned that the World was different than the picture I had. ... and then by the time I got home from school they had caught the accused shooter Oswald .. and then he gets shot while being escorted into the station on live TV.. it made me wonder if Dallas Texas was still the Wild West like in the movies.. I also learned that people that talked about changing things ended up killed or just missing... that view was confirmed when Bobby Kennedy and Dr. King were assasinated 5 years later. you shouldn't quote Gary Myers if you want any credability ... he hasn't been right about anything since he stated, for two years, that the Jets should have drafted Southern Cal QB Matt Leinart instead of OT D'Brick and C Mangold. The same Leinart that can't beat out Kurt Warner ater 3 years. He was also on the Favre bandwagon when the Jets were 8-3 and jumped off on their way to 9-7. he waffles but always manages to sound like he always had that opinion. Sanchez 9 tuurnovers since bye week.. Favre 22-24 with 4 TD's... Why is Clemens still taking up a roster spot if he's not even considered an option in these games? By the Sanchez gets it, Faneca and a few others will be gone and then there will be more wholes to fill.. again .BTW.. two weeks row Giants D couldn't stop game winning/game tying drives. only if someone challenges the constitution in court... that's the inside joke in America many citizens have had to fight in court for rights that the constituition supposedly said they already had... just like the Bible, it's all about who's intepreting what was written and what was intended by the words. all true... I'm just P.O'd that the ONE game I got to see at the stadium this year Saturday Sept. 12 against the Orioles he gave up 6 runs in the second, including a grand slam to roberts I I think. the Yankees dumped more than $80 million in payroll with the expired contracts of Jason Giambi, Bobby Abreu, Andy Pettitte, Mike Mussina, Carl Pavano and Kyle Farnsworth to free agency. They REINVESTED that payroll cash to sign CC Sabathia, A.J. Burnett and Mark Teixeira. again the next time your team doesn't re-sign a top player or loses him to free-agency track where that 'saved' money goes... Yankee fans don't have to ask that question. everyone likes to refer to the constitution when talking about restricting rights and "what the founding fathers intended". ...what they intended was to only give rights to white male propertty owners. no women .. slaves were property and counted as 3/5's a person for electoral votes, Yes non-citizens have rights. But there are many they don't have.. The criteria for Citizenship wasn't defined until the 14th Amendment and women didn't get the right to vote until the 19th... a better question is what rights don't non-citizens have.. non-citizens don't have legal parental or marriage rights; and and are not covered by Equal Protection Clause required states to provide to ALL people. that's why you can send non-citizen terroist to gitmo without a hearing (no MIranda or due process tights) (Friday Nov 20 | post #31676)

No one cares whether your tax dollars are spent on a pointless war (or police action). But people who object to abortion MUST be appeased. Just another smokescreen that confirms that America is no different than those 3rd world and Latin countries we laugh about,.. where Women have a second class status in their society .... and need decisions made for them or they'll ALL be running down to the abortion clinics anytime they choose. You need to find out how much the Padres and Rockies get in revenue sharing and how much of that is used on Payroll BEFORE you ask these questions. No one cried about Yank payroll when the Sox outbid them for Dice K and then won a WS. It's only an issue when the Yanks win. The years they don't it's "see they couldn't buy a title".
