Nazi flag flying high over Las Cruces East Mesa again

First off buddy may I remind you that Obama is not ďMYBOYĒ but the President of the United States elected by the majority of the people? I am totally aware what Socialism is and judging by your eloquent description of it, it appears that you at the very least have its definitions at hand. Obama has never said anything about redistribution of wealth; our country has done fine over the years with many Social programs that are essential to the development and prosperity of an advanced civilization, law enforce, school districts, emergency services and many others. It is to the best interest of the overwhelming mayoralty of Americans for our country to have some kind of social healthcare program. It is nothing short of criminal, that many Americans donít qualify for health care because of pre-existing conditions or others that work for companies who donít offer health benefits or are self employed. This has nothing to do with stealing from the wealthy but has everything to do with being taxed accordingly. We the tax payers are already paying for wars and the ďliberationĒ of citizens of Iraq. Why canít they pay for the well being of each other?  (Sep 28, 2009 | post #161)

Ridicules, canít believe that in this day and age people still believe this to be true, Republicans are the ones that want to control everything and DO resort to force to get it, they are the ones that have an elitist superiority complex, they have a total disregard for the less fortunate and donít care about anyone other than themselves, this includes future generations as they have disregard and a complete close mind when it comes to environmental issues.  (Sep 28, 2009 | post #160)

Are you people for real? Hitler was the complete opposite of a leftist. I read all your post and canít believe the ignorance being spread on this forum. Typical republican BS you base you opinions on half facts and rumors. The only fact is that the Nazi party contained the word ďSocialistĒ on it, but it was meant as social ďas for the peopleĒ or for ďeveryoneĒ nothing to do with socialist or communist ideas. Sure you can find similarities with all types of government ideology, but itís not an opinion itís a fact that Nazis where Fascist and fascist ideas are more consistent with those of Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh and most extreme conservatives. You can argue that liberal ideas show similarities with Socialism, but NEVER fascism. Get into an American neo-Nazi website and find out what party they support.  (Sep 27, 2009 | post #151)

City Council denies more funding to La Mujer Obrera

I agree, anyone that is looking to make profits in the long run, needs to cut back on their pay, until all loans obtained trough the government are paid off. But at the same time for this or any other project needs to be managed by very capable people and folks like that cost money.  (Sep 23, 2009 | post #41)

Joe for Christ sake! Complaining about these women not speaking English when you, yourself donít seem to master the language. You express yourself like either an ESOL student, or an American retard. In any case you need to master something before you criticize those that donít.  (Sep 23, 2009 | post #33)

What!!! Eddie Holguin is Tigua??? That would explain why he voted against ďLa Mujer ObreraĒ regardless of how you feel about this issue, Tigaus donít give their women equal rights, they canít even vote. So a Tigua is always going to vote against anything having to do with women or women rights. Why the hell would someone ever vote him into office? Might as well get a radical Muslim in there.  (Sep 23, 2009 | post #32)

That $400,000 is probably going to something meaningless and stupid; La Mujer Obrera actually has a very good and ambitious business plan and more importantly is good for El Paso. Like always local city government failed to approve something toward the development of El Paso and opportunities for the poor. Its no ones fault but those of us who vote for them.  (Sep 22, 2009 | post #5)
