Poll: Most want inquiry into anti-terror tactics

I like that. How your post went from our leaders to Bush administration. How about sticking to our leaders? Which would include every politician who helped Bush by voting to invade Iraq? I believe that's conspiracy. And of course every politician who enabled the alleged crime to continue by doing nothing although they knew about it. How many politicians even went so far as to travel to Iraq, witnessed this supposed crime, yet did nothing? The swath of potential guilt goes wide and far. Do you really want justice, or just a lynching?  (Feb 12, 2009 | post #9)

Obama's Failed and Tired Ideas From the Past

At his current pace he should catch Bush around...June? Just in time to change Independence day to dependence day. America...*poof* Don't forget to wave your flag.  (Feb 11, 2009 | post #8)

GOP leaders doubt stimulus bill will pass Senate

Maybe he's talking about that other conservative, Bill Gates, who threatened to move part his company out of the country if he didn't get to hire more foreign workers. Sounds like a conservative thing to do.  (Feb 11, 2009 | post #1287)

Bullet demand off like a shot

Republicans found if they didn't dumb it down you lefties couldn't keep up. Maybe it has something to do with our lowest common denominator system of education. Low expectations, low results.  (Feb 11, 2009 | post #381)

Immigration Reform

The Racist Roots of the Anti-Immigration Movement

I perused this little tidbit of information, and even considered clicking the link, until I got to Mr. Gittelson's first truism and discovered he is either mis-informed, ignorant, or a liar. Each may choose their own definition of what he is, but correct he is not.  (Feb 11, 2009 | post #488)

A staunch difference? I bet I can find a staunch difference in Laurel and Hardy too. Shall we throw in Joe Biden and make it the three stooges?  (Feb 11, 2009 | post #368)

Senate Democrats Add Golf Carts to Stimulus

No, in third world countries they are forced to do without. If the Dems were for the working people of the United States they would want E-verify to be renewed. They would want you to get that supposed upcoming job, not some illegal from another company. Who benefits if a lower payed illegal gets that job over a fairly paid U.S. citizen? You are being very shortsighted if you think only the Reps in Washington might be in bed with any big business.  (Feb 11, 2009 | post #40)

Senate Democrats Add Golf Carts to Stimulus

I'd like to agree with a Dem sometime but it seems everything they want is followed by the words "free" or "someone else pay". You got life, liberty, and the pursuit. That's free. Everything else comes with a price. Pay it or do without.  (Feb 11, 2009 | post #34)

Obama pitches stimulus plan

So, what? His plan is right because, you say so? He does? Noone knows anything if they have a different idea? Pffft, don't be silly. He and his honcho Gietner both have said they don't know if their plans will work, but they think something needs to be done. And they're willing to try with several trillion dollars of taxpayer money experimenting with their ideas. Only a fool wouldn't question that scenario.  (Feb 10, 2009 | post #90)

Senate passes Obama's economic stimulus plan

Perhaps you have not met anyone of significant importance before, or someone who has achieved an education such as his. If not, it is understandable why one might be a bit overwhelmed. After you meet more than one or two individuals like that though and start to spend some time with them the luster starts to wear off. You start looking beyond the star and begin looking for some substance because they really aren't all that different. A bit more educated here and there but not so much elsewhere. "Barry" is a star, no doubt about it. Once you get beyond that though the real substance is lacking, he's just another politician who is looking more and more like he can't do. Talk is cheap, free actually, many can do it, few can go beyond.  (Feb 10, 2009 | post #48)

Obama, Senate reach deal on economic stimulus package

You made the exaggerated leap from Barack talking about something and actually knowing how to do something. The poor guy doesn't even know what is in this bill let alone what any of it means.  (Feb 10, 2009 | post #686)

California panel rejects new offshore oil drilling
