Woman attacked by SWAT in her yard

This is why COPS are the enemy. If you look at psychological statistics, over 90% of cops are narcissistic psychopaths. If these Cops came onto my property without a warrant. I would blast away at what I thought were "robbers " trying to break into my home. If it ended in a shootout, you better believe I'd take at least a few with me before it all ended. NEVER trust the cops. Their ego's are corrupted by that gun and power they legally have. That woman should sue the police to such an extent, that it breaks them financially. If you guys have more details, please send me a private message as I have access to great civil right lawyers in Tennessee. I bet they didn't have a warrant!!!!  (Aug 19, 2013 | post #14)

Is Morrison a good town to move to???

Looking for a quiet place in the country, do a little hobby farming and move my retired mother there to the property as well. Saw a couple of decent priced small farm foreclosures for sale and wondering if the town is filled with crooked cops/politics/nose y neighbhors/and air filled with Monsatan's Glyphosate and Round-up poisoning my lungs from all near by big farms???  (Aug 14, 2013 | post #1)

IS the soil in Hartwell good for Nut/Fruit tree's???

I'm looking at a few acres for sale in the Hartwell area where I want to plant a small fruit and nut tree orchard. Just wondering how the soil is there. I know it's clay but is it good for an orchard? Does the soil there have decent drainage, or does the water just sit on top of the soil with nowhere to go. Thanks in advance, Dom  (Jul 18, 2013 | post #1)

What does his Father's Sin have to do with his own? Nothing!!!! I'm a Pastor and a Theologian and what you say is false, here's why. This person was born a different Nationality than you and was raised in a society Biased toward Islam. So he became that because that's what people do in those countries, because of Bias. Now his heart is stirring and his soul is wondering about Christ. It is never too late for anyone. See the thief on the Christ who believed in the last minute and was saved. And here you are saying he is condemned because of the way he was raised. That's not right!!! What he does can save him. If he chooses Christ and gets the Spirit, then he is saved. It is a decision we make of our own volition. As a Pastor, when someone asks about Jesus, you're supposed to be loving, accepting, sharing, and teaching. Instead the first thing you do is bring up that all his people are doomed, God turned his back, yadda yadda yadda, and so forth. Great Job!!!! You know they have retreats for Pastors where you guys are taught the best way to communicate with others not like yourself and how to approach others. If I was a Muslim wondering about Christ and wanting to know more, and if you would have told me all that above, I would have just walked away and never wondered about Christ again thinking that even his representatives say I'm screwed. And who did Jesus preach to? The worst of the worst. If you would like some more lessons on best way to approach others not like yourself as far as religion and skin color, feel free to stop by my house Church for some lessons Pastor. By the way, "Pastor" is just a title that many let get to their heads. I've met many a Pastor who spent years upon years studying books in seminary, and yet still lack the Baptism of the Spirit.  (Jul 17, 2013 | post #6)

Saaqib, Don't listen to those who spit on you or tell you that you're going to hell. There are true Christians who have the Holy Spirit that will not judge you, that Love you, and will spend the time to sit down with you and share. Christianity in the South has been sabotaged by red-neck type racism where they basically call themselves Christian because everyone else is, but don't practice what they preach. This is true for a lot of folks, but not all. I'm planning on moving to the area soon and starting a small house church and you would be more than welcome into my home, food, a place to stay, anything you would ever need, I would share with you because I know you are a Soul. The biggest difference between Christianity and Islam, is that in Christianity you will eventually get the Holy Spirit which will indwell you, slay your ego, and add spiritual faculties to your being such as non-judgment, Transcendent Love, Peace, Being, Sharing, and various other spiritual gifts. It is a direct experience and you ill know that you are sealed by the Holy Spirit when this happens and that your entry into Heaven is secured. It's just an unfortunate thing that many Southerners give Christianity a Bad name by being racists and not acting like Christ, and that is because many lack the Holy Spirit experience which changes a person. If you lack the Holy Spirit then those folks will not act any different than regular folks.  (Jul 17, 2013 | post #3)

There is no god. There is no jesus.

It's not that I enjoyed reaching certain crests prior to others, but that it was basically a testimony that the things "crests" which be people look for in other religions, are freely being given and revealed to those in Christ. I know better than to create egotism based on who reaches what sooner than another, which is a trap in and of itself. The mixed and match puzzle pieces you refer to are found everywhere. When I go to Philosophy meetings, everyone is debating everyone else. Same goes in Buddhism which has so many different branches and all these monks debating each other, is also found in Islam, Judaism, Hinduism with the caste system, etc. Even science argues and debates in theoretical physics. So sure there are various debates/arguments/ disagreements on miscellaneous details, but again that's like not seeing the forest for the tree's. I got wrapped up in all the stupid debates and disagreements myself, and found that all I was doing was pleasing the part of the ego the enjoys being victorious in a debate. Instead I choose the wiser of the 2, and that was to deny the ego, starve it of oxygen, and that was one of the key pieces that would eventually lead to me experiencing the Source (God), including remembering that I pre-existed prior to a body, as a soul. All of that stuff is deep within us, but it is the mind, like a wandering Monkey, causing all sorts of troubles where there really are none. You can literally strip everything from the Bible, leaving just the words of Christ, and those teachings are enough to simplify the path and make it easy as pie. You should see some of these muscle car fanatics forums, where they argue which year chevy had the most torque, longevity, gusto, etc. I see all this arguing in those forums, but when I go to those car shows, I enjoy most just being in the presence one of these classics, the sound of the engine, the smell of the exhaust, the look, the quality, etc. Same thing here. Everyone argues all these minor details, but the key is to enjoy God, Jesus for what he is, and make one's self available for spiritual awakening within by being open to God and removing the bias of cultural programming (which results in returning to a child like awareness)  (Apr 21, 2013 | post #387)

Disprove It: Jesus Is A Sun God

Whether you accept it or not, does not change the fact that what he did and what he taught still stands as a free gift and applicable path to Enlightenment and Ego Death. If you are "GOd'ian " then you would see and acknowledge that Jesus stood on the side of Truth and God. I know various Buddhists, Mystics, Hindu's, and no-label Godian types and the majority of them have nothing but respect and utmost reverence for Christ. Perhaps Ghandi said it best. "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians". At the end of the day, arguing Sun God this and Jesus that doesn't help anyone or anything. We should all at least come together and recognize that the Ego in everyone is the cause of Ignorance, Sin, and the problems of the world, and we are all works in progress. If you don't accept Christ, then that's on you. I still Love you, my home is open to you, and a hot meal is waiting for you all the same, for I know the real you, the soul. I know the indecisive and questioning Mind/Ego is not the real you. Everything else remains in the Peace that surpasses understanding and resting in Transcendence  (Apr 21, 2013 | post #620)

There is no god. There is no jesus.

It's not a competition, or show-and-tell, or a distraction. There are similar experiences that people have across the board. With the kingdom of God near you or within you, it doesn't matter. It's just as much a distraction to be quipping over semantics and meanings. We can literally sit here for decades arguing every single word in every single verse in ever single book in existence, yet we won't benefit from it other then ego strengthening.  (Apr 21, 2013 | post #383)

Disprove It: Jesus Is A Sun God

What would the desired result be if it was staged? What propaganda? It's all quite simple, follow the teachings of Christ, work on bettering yourself, Loving God, Loving others, Ego death, Selflessness, prayer, Meditation....... Very Simle, and then eventually Grace comes and visits you and instills you with Divine Bliss, Transcendence, and actually Slays your Ego, your HEart Flowers with Love for complete strangers, Empathy, Caring, etc. Yes i agree many aspects of Christianity can be confusing and can end up being more head based ideas instead of experiencing the Vastness of God. That's a problem that exists in the world in general where the majority of folks are too wrapped up in book knowledge, tv, smart phones, the "world" and what it has to offer in general. Whereas Christ taught that the Kingdom of God is within you and invites one to go within and find this Kingdom, all the while following precepts of selflessness, humbleness, caring, sharing, empathy, and love. We can put it this way also. God can't be known by a limited mind or by logic and reason. But God can be experienced and the experience is not only prior to logic/reason/mind, but also transcends those faculties. So Jesus had to show up to put an end to the old Judaism ways which was not producing Enlightenment or experiences of God, as well as putting a Face or Representative on the Unknown God. Through Christ, everything becomes simple and knowable. So easy a Child could do it and know it. As far as the massive theological books and millions of details one can argue about, they are all a waste of time an energy. If they do not edify the Soul, God, Ego Death and Spiritual Transformation, the they are simply fodder for the ego to argue and debate. As far as the rituals in Christianity, there may be something to them that creates a Mystical/Experient ial opening in the soul for it to experience God. I thought getting Baptized as a grown man was quite peculiar, however not even 3 weeks later I got a visit from the Holy Spirit who killed my ego and indwelled me with Divine Bliss. It was almost as if the baptizm is what triggered the Spirit to move and act in my being. Many things are still hard to intellectualize. Water can be represented as Ice, or Vapor, however that does not take away from its original essence. I was more "confused, shallow, depressed, superficial and apathetic" when I was a wandering Atheist always attacking everyone with a belief system. My ego was addicting to using all the arguments to destroy someone's ideas and faith. Now as a Christian, instead of being "confused, shallow, depressed, superficial and apathetic" .....I lack confusion and rest in Being, Stillness, Peace. Depression replaced with divine bliss and joy. Shallowness replaced with an inner spring that runs deep and provides direct experiences of the Absolute. And none of the attributes you give to Christianity exist in me.  (Apr 21, 2013 | post #615)

There is no god. There is no jesus.

The Christian adherence is specifically systematic. What we have here in the West is watered down versions of the original, and tainted with egotism. The adherence is like what you would do to be a Master Craftsman or World Class pianist for example. You cling to Master of the Craft and learn from them. First it's an internship, then you slowly work your way up the levels of knowledge, until you too become a Master of a Craft, or World class Pianist. That's the purpose of the Adherence. The Prayers are heard and they are answered in Grace. I'm not talking about, "I need a Million Dollars.", but more so, "I want to Know God, to Experience the Absolute". Eventually you feel the Grace in forms as Divine Bliss, and Ego Death, and the Light within shines Bright and illuminates the Kingdom of Heaven within you. It's an easy path based on Grace, letting Go, Surrender, Ego Death, and Wisdom. I go to various circles of Inter-faith dialog and philosophy discussions and when we share Mystical experiences from our respective paths, there are Buddhists, Hindus, and others who say they have been at it for 30-50 years and have never experienced what I have in less than a year. ...Or atheists that never speak of any experiences, or perhaps some slight one through humanism approaches. The thing is, if you set aside, or suspend, all bias, all belief, and you give the Christ-based Way a go, it becomes legit and experientially tangible, that's why so may flock to it.  (Apr 21, 2013 | post #378)

Disprove It: Jesus Is A Sun God

One can experience God and the Holy Spirit, prior to any beliefs. Just like all of reality exists prior to what anyone thinks or believes of it. I can come up with a million different theories on Jesus, doesn't mean nay of them are true. For example, I can take the book Moby Dick, and create this huge over-thought, over-emphasized theory that it's all psychologically representing Jesus' life, and then convince a few hundred people that I'm right. Just like Hitler convinced millions to fight for his made up ideologies. Naturally in a world with free will, mental programing instilled from birth, and bias, there will always be varying views. Jesus basically taught ego death and Spiritual Awakening, while at the same time letting people know that we live in a corrupt world and that in this world we are merely passing through, like tourists. If you follow the teachings of Christ, then eventually ego death and enlightenment/illu mination occurs and makes life a lot easier and gives a glimpse into the afterlife and that you are a soul (awareness/conscio usness) inhabiting a shell/avatar body. Quite simple. However, what has happened, is that Egotism has taken over a vast majority of Christianity, and has given it a bad name by creating separatism and "holier than thou" based egotism. ....but that's not what its about. I was once a Super Hard core Atheist/Agnostic. What got me, was a Christian inviting me to see for myself is what Jesus taught was true, by testing it experientially. By doing so, direct experiences of the Divine began to occur, and these glimpses would reveal just how crazy the ego is within myself and everyone else, and that Egotism is what causes all the problems of the world. It's basically a Path Towards Enlightenment based on ego death and Grace, experiences that are real and transcendent. That's why Christ is still going strong after all these millenia, because at the core, there is truth there.  (Apr 21, 2013 | post #605)

There is no god. There is no jesus.

Former missionary here with access to all the free masons books and branch of knowledge as well, since my father is in it and all my uncles, so I am obliged to match your level of knowledge on these subjects quite well. What you may "know" about God, may actually be all book knowledge and theories, and it may be your belief system that God isn't real. Where all your theorizing fails is in the phenomena of people who directly have experienced God. The Mystics, Monks, Saints, and Desert Fathers of the Faith who went out in search of God with decades of meditation, prayer, fasting, many of whom have eventually reached an experience called Union with God where they were able to experience God. Interestingly, all of these experiencers of God, are completely in agreement as to the details of the actual experience itself. Science may be the best system we have for trying to figure out the details of what's going on in reality, however science is not looking for God. It's too taboo so they leave it alone. Science itself is merely uncovering facts that are already there, not discovering anything. For example, DNA has always been in humans. It wasn't discovered by Francis Crick, but merely uncovered. Then you have the flaws that exist within the Scientific Method which requires Objectivity and repeatability. And yet, many aspects of reality can never be repeated and rely on subjectivity, just like you experiencing this reply of mine subjectively for the very first time (which can never be repeated), and yet would be a fool to deny that you did not just subjectively experience an unrepeatable moment. You reference the Big Bang. WHy just One big bang? There is already the Theory of Multi Universes with Multi big bangs that may be the cause of Black holes ripping through the fabric of reality to create new Universes. When they figure out what caused the big bang, it will just lead to a never ending string of more big bangs and will not disprove God. If anything, science will eventually prove that God exists by uncovering God. They may already have done so in Quantum Physics and Mathematically Georg Cantor may have done so with his Infinite Math. Just because the Status Quo popular Opinion in science says there is no God and Atheism reigns supreme, doesn't mean it is that way. It is usually One guy busting his ass to prove his theory that goes against the grain of what everyone else believes is true, that has to fight his way to prove he's right. On the other hand, I agree many Christians create this holier than thou "They're right, and everyone else is wrong" Egotism which does suck, but doesn't mean that the inherent foundation of Christianity, i.e. the existence of God, is wrong. There's too many anomalies that say otherwise. NDE's, personal experiences, science not yet knowing what consciousness is, and so on. Regardless, physical death, the great equalizer, eventually pays us all a visit and we find out what is true anyway after all this. And life is a flash in the pan! Your belief system that there is no God, no Jesus, is just that, another belief system with no proof other then speculative theories and ideas. The control system that you speak of, is actually the ego/mind that is inside of everyone.  (Apr 21, 2013 | post #376)

Disprove It: Jesus Is A Sun God

That's just what you choose to believe, and is part of your belief system, just like the "Sun God" theory. Christianity is actually a systematic approach into experiential ego death and Union/Reunion with God. Sure it's a belief system using Faith at first, but later on, you directly experience the realities that are talked about in the Bible, selfless ego death, transcendent Love, remembering that you pre-existed as a soul prior to the body, and so on. I used to be an Atheist/Agnostic, and now as a Christian who experiences these Mystical realities of Christ, it would be impossible to have it any other way, and I wouldn't want it any other way for that matter anyway. I have peace, Love, transcendence, selflessness, timelessness, seeing everything in the Grand scheme of things, no fear of physical death, and I also Love you and would open my house to you and feed you if you were hungry, for I know the real you, the soul. You must have seen the Zeigeist movie without seeing any of the rebuttals which proves the movie got many facts wrong and now your on a "Sun God" kick. No biggie. Christ is a Big Deal because he's real and when you follow his teachings, you too share in experiencing God and Divine Love.  (Apr 21, 2013 | post #598)
