I guess it's fine to incorporate modern animals in this forum but it's still important to incorporate dinosaurs. It still is a "Dinosaur " forum after all. I seriously doubt anyone will rename this the animal forum though... (Jun 10, 2012 | post #5)
Obviously it's the six allosaurus. It's just like the carcharo fight. 1 on 1 the spinosaurus wins. However there are six allosaurus! They'll just completely overwhelm the spinosaurus with their greater numbers. (Jun 10, 2012 | post #57)
I'm starting to regret my comment already. (Jun 7, 2012 | post #54)
I've thought about this long and hard. In the future I may regret posting this but I really don't care. In my opinion I belive the raptors would win. Wait! Let me explain why. First of all the raptors have a huge number advantage on the tiger. That also leads to an intimidation factor that the tiger also has due to its larger size. As Weinerschnitzel Cranzer(hope I spelled that correctly) pointed out tigers have fought off wolf packs that coexist with them. From what I have read this is true. However what I read also said that during confrontations between the animals no real fighting occurs. It's mainly a game of intimidation. The wolf pack not willing to risk casualties retreats. However this is a deathmatch and real fighting will occur. Cranzer also said that since wolves are bigger creatures that there is no reason as to why the smaller raptors would fare any better at swarming the tiger. This is an excellent point because in a fight size can be a key factor. However I have realized that the raptors have a way to compensate for, and perhaps even surpass this size gap. Claws. Some of you may be thinking"the wolf has claws too!" which is true. However the claws of the raptor are much larger and sharper. Especially that nasty foot claw. Because of these superior claws the raptor has a much better chance of getting on the tiger and holding on, thus wearing the tiger out. With this the rest of the pack could be free to swarm the tiger thus overwhelming and killing it. However the tiger would also probably get a few kills too. Overall I think the sheer number of velociraptors will win the day with some challenges. Velociraptor pack 65/35 Tiger (Jun 7, 2012 | post #49)
This is a little tough. Allosaurus has a clear size advantage, but the Archaeotheriums have a number advantage. Id say 50/50. (Jun 7, 2012 | post #40)
allosaurus is the biggest and most well equiped so it gets the win here. (Jun 7, 2012 | post #36)
In a 1 on 1 fight carcharodontosauru s would slaughter allosaurus but 5 on 1?! Carcharodontosauru s stands no chance. Allosaurus 95/5 Carcharodontosauru s (Jun 7, 2012 | post #34)
A 28ft ceratosaurus would probably be very sluggish compared to its normal sized form so I would bet on allosaurus. (Jun 7, 2012 | post #32)
This depends. Is the is it a small allosaurus, or a big ceratosaurus? (Jun 7, 2012 | post #30)
Allosaurus commands every advantage so I would vote for it. (Jun 7, 2012 | post #28)
I would think that Tyrannosaurus rex stands the best chance being the most durable of the nine. However in a fight like this the outcome is unpredictable. However, I don't think allosaurus stands a chance. (Jun 7, 2012 | post #6)
They appear to be of same size and body structure so ill say 50/50. (Jun 6, 2012 | post #19)
I would think that the main competitors would be Tyrannosaurus rex, Giganotosaurus, Carcharodontosauru s, and Saurophaganax. Tyrannosaurus rex: Big, Strongest bite, sturdy, very advanced Giganotosaurus: Big, Sharp and efficient teeth Carcharodontosauru s: Same as Giganotosaurus Saurophaganax: Big, Agility (Jun 6, 2012 | post #2)
