Hemet man found shot in car

If you take the time to read the news article you'll find that the man was shot in Riverside not in Hemet. The man was a Hemite resident; but to repeat, He was not shot in HemetI  (Jan 13, 2010 | post #4)

Hemet shooting victim identified by authorities

Unfortunately, You've got it wrong! Hemet is full of racists & people who are dumber than dirt, like you! Your comment in the face of some one losing a loved one either indicates your IQ or level of maturity both of which are substandard. To the mother, who lost a daughter, my condolences. May your daughter rest in God's Hands.  (Jan 8, 2010 | post #3)

Man Sought in Hemet Teen's Death Found

Thanks brb you can always be counted on, for your positive comments. All this cat fighting & name calling is useless. The fact remains that a young man, who may have made a mistake, is dead & his family is left to deal with this loss of a loved one!  (Jan 2, 2010 | post #21)

jesus is a lie

I've never claimed to have vast knowledge, or to be an authority. It doesn't take a genius to know where to look for information in today's world. There are plenty of search engines & other resource sites where you can find the answer to just about everything. Someone asked a question & I provided an answer. It seems to me that is a better use of time than to waste time with childish name calling & exchanging insults.  (Dec 31, 2009 | post #23)

jesus is a lie

Scholars from around Jesus' time include, Flavius Josephus (c. 37–c. 100), a Jew and Roman citizen who worked under the patronage of the Flavians, wrote the Antiquities of the Jews in 93 AD. In these works, Jesus is mentioned twice. The one directly concerning Jesus has come to be known as the Testimonium Flavianum Thallus, of whom very little is known, wrote a history from the Trojan War to, according to Eusebius, 109 BC. No work of Thallus survives. There is one reference to Thallus having written about events beyond 109 BC. Julius Africanus, writing c. 221, while writing about the crucifixion of Jesus, mentioned Thallus. Consequently, scholars like Sanders, Geza Vermes, John P. Meier, David Flusser, James H. Charlesworth, Raymond E. Brown, Paula Fredriksen and John Dominic Crossan argue that, although many readers are accustomed to thinking of Jesus solely as a theological figure whose existence is a matter only of religious debate, the four canonical Gospel accounts are based on source documents written within decades after Jesus' lifetime, and therefore provide a basis for the study of the "historical " Jesus. The first-century Roman Tacitus, who is considered one of the more accurate historians of the ancient world, mentioned superstitious “Christians” (from Christus, which is Latin for Christ), who suffered under Pontius Pilate during the reign of Tiberius. Suetonius, chief secretary to Emperor Hadrian, wrote that there was a man named Chrestus (or Christ) who lived during the first century (Annals 15.44). Pliny the Younger, in Letters 10:96, recorded early Christian worship practices including the fact that Christians worshiped Jesus as God and were very ethical, and he includes a reference to the love feast and Lord’s Supper. The Babylonian Talmud (Sanhedrin 43a) confirms Jesus' crucifixion on the eve of Passover and the accusations against Christ of practicing sorcery and encouraging Jewish apostasy. Lucian of Samosata was a second-century Greek writer who admits that Jesus was worshiped by Christians, introduced new teachings, and was crucified for them. Mara Bar-Serapion confirms that Jesus was thought to be a wise and virtuous man, was considered by many to be the king of Israel, was put to death by the Jews, and lived on in the teachings of His follower If you truly want to find out about Jesus, check out PBS channels mini-series, "From Jesus to Christ" at: http://www.pbs.org /wgbh/pages/frontl ine/shows/religion / While some experts a from religious institutions, you'll also find experts from Brown, Duke, Univeristy of Texas, and more secular institutions.  (Dec 31, 2009 | post #17)

Unfortunately for you two, historians have long since proved that Jesus in fact was born in Bethlehem. You can believe as you will; but I'd like to be there to see the look on your faces when you finally meet Him. Darwin on the other hand is a fraud. Do your homework beyond what schools are telling you. You'll find that a multitude of scientists now believe in "Intelligent Design." Schools once taught the Earth was flat but that didn't make it true.  (Dec 30, 2009 | post #5)

Does anybody have a license?

You definitely need a history lesson! Guess who it was that introduced alcohol to the Native Americans? Us, the white devils, who in addition stole their land, put them in reservations, & introduced them to a whole range of diseases they had never experienced before the white man's greed arrived in N. America.  (Dec 29, 2009 | post #11)

Does anybody have a license?

I wonder if it matters what race you are. Seems to me that a good number of people in CA just do whatever the hell they want to. As far as mexico norte, I'll bet the Native American tribes wondered if this area was becoming white devil west when the first settlers moved in. They might have also thought,"Ther e goes the neighborhood! " And they were right. Racism is always in the eye of the beholder. I don't know why we Anglos & white devils are always so quick to be such bigots.  (Dec 27, 2009 | post #3)

Police start patroling today to nab drunk drivers

While you spout off with a lot of outdated & disconected Constitutional trivia. Let's look at several Constitutional Facts. 1. The Supreme Court has ruled that driving on public highways, streets, etc. is a privilege not a right. 2. Under the Constitution States have the right to regulate privileges granted by it. 3. The State of CA has allowed a program of drunk driver checkpoints. 4. As already pointed out by another poster, The Supreme Court has ruled that drunk driver checkpoints are legal (Constitutional). 5. The State of CA allows police to set up cheeckpoints to ensure that drivers are licensed, their vehicles are registered, & they have valid insurance. Therefore by warning of checkpoints you are aiding those who may be DUI, don't have a license or insurance, etc. Get a clue, "maybe"!  (Dec 22, 2009 | post #8)
