No buyouts for anyone in STL, no money for them. Also, No south plant person will get their time, something to do with truck plant only having 1 shift or something. It was pretty vague, but Im real suprised about the buyout situation. (Jul 23, 2008 | post #36)
in the contract product guarantees section, it says that south plant's long term viability is tied to volume, and UAW will continue to try to advocate for new product. I would say the volume is definitely gone in the van market. Thats probably the "catch 22" u mentioned. (Jul 23, 2008 | post #26)
Well, i have 9 years, and most likely would be transferring with date of entry seniority, becuase my plant will still be running 1 shift. I guess I shouldnt even think about a pdc then? (Jul 20, 2008 | post #48)
Chrysler may alter Sebring, Avenger
We will get green sheet eventually on the base model. Dealer i was at the other day said people are paying up to $60k for the srt-8's. Royal Gate had more than 10 in stock. (Jul 19, 2008 | post #15)
Chrysler may alter Sebring, Avenger
The avenger seems like a fine car, but im 6ft and my right leg seems to rest too much on the corner of the center console, not very comfy. In fact, thats the reason I dont like the pre-2008 minivans, my left legs rests on the corner of the window/lock controls of the door. Id probly buy a caliber over the avenger.
