OxyContin, Roxicodone, Oxycodone (generic)
I agree it is sad but people are going to do stupid shit no matter what so at least they have some kind of guideline. I agree with the old mantra that pills are meant to be swallowed. I have injected pills in my day and taking them orally has always been a better experience in my opinion. It's not worth the health risk as the buzz/rush is almost non-existent when injecting. Like I said before I don't condone it but if you want to shoot something go right for the heroin and stop fucking around. (Feb 24, 2007 | post #4)

Will you please stop talking like dracula and say "want" instead of "vant"? Your best quote ever is "I vant buy h e r o i n" If you really want subutex why don't you research the doctors in your area and get on a treatment plan. I'm on it and I don't have insurance. It's very expensive but I just do partial refills of my script so I don't have to pay $700 for my full script. My doc (who is a substance abuse psychiatist) writes me a script for 75 8mg subutex a month (Feb 24, 2007 | post #46)

Do you get 120 30mg Roxys a month? that really wouldn't last that long cause at the most you could take what like 4 roxys a day? Norco is just hydrocodone and acetaminophen right? What dose are you on for that? are the pills 10/325 or something similar? I don't know much about norco it doesn't seem too popular where I'm living. I just have another question, and I know it's different for everyone but, assuming you have prescription coverage what does the pharmacy charge you for your month's supply of Roxy? I'm just super curious to know the legal Vs. illegal price. Als, i'm sure you had to go to a pain management facility for those meds correct? Sorry for some many questions (Feb 19, 2007 | post #50)

Are you talking about oxycontin? the last street prices I heard was anywhere from $35-40 for an 80mg around 20 for a 40 and I'm not even sure about 20mg. Don't see too many 20's where I am. This was early last year I haven't messed with them off the street for awhile (Feb 19, 2007 | post #35)

8mg subutex can go as high as $25 each where I'm from. I get them legit though so I don't mess with getting them off the street. I have a friend that was paying $20 to help get himself off of oxycontin. i'm sure the prices are different everywhere. (Feb 19, 2007 | post #14)

Buprenorphine (subutex/suboxone) is a partial opioid agonist and it works on the parts of the brain where full opiate agonists do. This makes your brain/body happy as if you had opiates but doesn't produce euphoric effects. Check out www.suboxone.com (Feb 17, 2007 | post #12)

Subutex is pretty hard to get without seeing a doctor. I know only a handful of physicians in each state prescribe it and I'm pretty sure that each physician is only allowed a max of 19 or 20 patients at one time that they can write scripts for. I see a substance abuse psychiatrist who writes me a script for 75 B-8 a month. Without insurance it's about a $700 expense. Luckily I just got my coverage back but before that I was getting partial refills for 5-10 pills at a time. I'm not an expert but it seems that the subutex/suboxone dispensing process is pretty closely watched. I got a hard time the first few times I picked it up at my local pharmacy. Also man, I'm in NJ and everything is on prescription here too. Find a doc that can prescribe bupe and tell him you want to get straight. The street prices can be kind of high (at least where I'm from). (Feb 17, 2007 | post #11)

That's insane. What kind of pain are you in to be taking 630mg/day of oxycodone? Also, every Doctor I've ever had has been sensitive to giving me a tapering schedule and would never leave me cold turkey for such addictive substances. I started taking meds due to joint pain related to lyme disease and I got out of control with my addiction but everyone handles it differently I guess (Feb 17, 2007 | post #42)

I do not want to explain the procedure myself but here is a link: http://www.heroinh elper.com/curious/ chemistry/internet _pills.shtml that link provides the safest way to prepare it for IV. It's really quite easy. Just don't fall into the misconception that the outside coating of an OC is the time release. The time release is a wax matrix inside the pill that is bound to the oxycodone. You will notice that quite quickly when you attempt to dissolve it. Honestly, unless you get them cheap and have a lot I personally think that chewing OCs gives me my moneys worth over booting it. P.S. it looks like we are from the same area. Ocean County Represent! =) (Feb 17, 2007 | post #2)
