Would going to the beach help?

Sandy..i feel better with sun with these things. Of course any soak is nice too - so the hot springs (sulfur??) would be great too.  (Jun 4, 2010 | post #2)

Taking Alli?

FDA: Rare Cases of Liver Injury Reported with Use of Xenical, Alli ....People who take Xenical or Alli should be aware that liver injury with orlistat – while rare – has been reported. Those taking the drug also should be aware of the signs and symptoms of liver injury, which include itching, yellow eyes or skin, dark urine, loss of appetite, or light-colored stools... full text: /NewsEvents/Newsro om/PressAnnounceme nts/ucm213470.htm I'm hesitant to even post this to even further confuse the issue. However my derm ordered a blood test early on in my itching treatment (she's still not even close to convinced it was scabies) - which resulted her in referring me to a GP for high cholesterol. GP said my liver numbers were way off, and ordered an ultrasound of my liver. Ultrasound came back normal. However - I was taking Alli on and off - i'm only 15 lbs or so above where I should be, and im in my early thirties. No other risk factors, no abuse of alcohol. Just something to evaluate in your "itching " factor. I get itching here and there but the last few weeks have been pretty good. Been doing various preventative measures posted here - the laundry, bleach baths, borax, a&h, general cleanliness, etc. No Alli either ;-) Now that the FDA released this today, i'll hit my GP up for another visit and run more liver numbers (been 4 or 5 months since then).  (May 27, 2010 | post #1)

Collembola Springtails VS Delusory Parasitosis - Winner: ...

And as long as we are talking about scams, think i'm gonna send some magicpharma Iver and another med off for lab analysis. Results probably 30-60 days. I'll post a new thread with results.  (May 3, 2010 | post #15)

What's Good To Get Rid of Old Bites

Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream is pretty amazing stuff. I'm not sure if I have scabies still, or did have them at one time even. All the symptoms are dead on - but never the positive scrape. This cream takes care of red spots though. It's prescribed by derms for a wide range of issues. Not terribly expensive. Maybe your derm will call in a prescription for you without incurring another visit charge. Hope it works! :-)  (May 1, 2010 | post #2)

Scabies Cure: SULFUR

jphs: What's the update on your condition with use of the precipitated sulfur. I have the sublimed, but am interested to hear how your treatment is going. Cheers.  (Apr 29, 2010 | post #121)

Night Treatments

80% of online pharmacies are counterfeit pills. Some of those 80% are harmless fillers, some are harmful.  (Apr 18, 2010 | post #17)

Just found out I have scabies today

The nodules should go away a day or two after the perm treatment. I truly hope the two perm treatments work for you. Be diligent, and think like a hospital - sanitize everything. There's plenty of information on these boards - almost too much. Some treatments work for some but not others. Best of luck.  (Apr 7, 2010 | post #2)

Ivermectin horse pasts - farnam or... ?

Hi Joe - this would probably be a good time to bring up using horse paste ivermectin orally vs. topically. I've seen threads here that indicate most are using it with a mixture of water topically, some are using 100% topically - but another said she noticed a real difference when taking it orally for 30 days or something. Any idea how people are taking this orally? Water dilution or something? I'm using stromectol without a whole lot of success - it clears up rashes and makes things nice for a few days but ehh - they come back. I honestly think i need a iver-3 days later - perm - 3 days later something else combo to just keep hitting them.  (Apr 2, 2010 | post #3)
