You have to know the whole story, lotlord(to where MY home was sitting on his properety) broke into my home and stole alot of items out of it, plus srewed all my doors shut while I was away, I reported it to sheriff then lotlord took me to court for back lotrent the lotlord and sheriff are also friends. So much for the law in Potter County SD I have talked with numerous people in Pierre about this, Yes it's against the law for anyone to burgalize anyones home, the guy should be arrested that did it, then they say it's just finding the right person to help you with this Darla, who may that be????????????????  (Aug 20, 2009 | post #4)

Onida Mayor Charged with Assault

I really don't undserstand the system, but I do know it's against the law to have the lotlord of the property( where my trailer was sitting) to break into my home while I was away and then board it up plus stealing items out of my home then the Gettysburg,SD sheriff not doing any thing about it, I know this is a small community and corrupt for not going by the law, Bill of rights states that you are allowed to own a home not have it taken away from you, I had signed papers with the sheriff for homestead exemption, I will never get over this, I had worked hard for buying the home even used my 401k retirement monies and then to loose everything in it too, it's just unexeptable, Potter County SD corruption is what I call it. State Lawmakers Have Many Goals

How many days does a Sheriff have to investigate a break and entering, theft and damage to personal property? Saying that SD state lawmakers have rules to go by, why am I not getting the law on whats right, Look into the report I filed in Potter County Sheriffs Dept. Gettysburg, SD, as long as everyones ignoring me on this, it like the Pierre officials saying its just finding the right person, why should I have to lose everything due to the criminal neglect of the Sheriff and the lotlord(s) of Rivers Edge Mobile Home Park?  (Apr 20, 2009 | post #1)
