Magic overcome Kobe Bryant's 41 points for home win

Well said! Thank you and all those like you who have the toughest jobs in the world and are sometimes overlooked but not forgotten!  (Dec 21, 2008 | post #38)

Magic hold off Lakers 106-103

I firmly believe that one of the reasons the Magic fail to get much respect nationally is because alot of the sports writers read what Brian Schmitz writes about them. I'm not trying to say the guy needs to be a homer, but damn he also doesn't have to be so negitive either. I live in Virginia now after living in Orlando for almost 20yrs. so I don't get to see all the games, so I check the Sentinel on-line to get most of my news following games. But when I read something that Brian writes it alway that "The Magic just got by" or "The Magic hold on." Then I come on here and find out the real news. If you check out ESPN, theres always a quote from Brian Schmitz. So why not do everyone a favor and just don't write anything at all if you can't write anything positive. Go Magic!!!  (Dec 20, 2008 | post #28)

A family's crash from the middle class

Its so easy to say what someone should do when you're not in their shoes. Its really sad if you actually feel this way because it says alot about what kind of person you are. What will you say if by some chance the same thing happens to you. How would you handle it? Its very easy to say what you'd do right now, but none of us knows how we would handle a situatuon like this in our lives. We all think we have it all figured out until it happens to you.  (Dec 15, 2008 | post #18)

NFL bigwigs huddle at Lake Eola for Super Bowl bash

People on this site can make a negitive out of a positive story faster than any people I've ever seen. I love Orlano, but damn I'm glad I don't live there any more! All the good things that are there and all the things you are so blessed to have and some of you people only look at the bad side of everything. Are you really that unhappy and sad with your own lives, that you want everyone else to be just like you?  (Dec 13, 2008 | post #13)

Would someone please tell me how some idiot could come on here and write a garbage comment like this and the Sentinel let it get by, and on other posts they put a * beside simple stuff? Is this a joke or what?  (Dec 3, 2008 | post #12)

Celtics blow past Magic

Dead on the money Jim. This is the best post I've read of yours in awhile. The guys are too depleted to hang with one of the top teams in the game right now, but hopefully we'll be back at full speed when we meet again. Keep you the good work Jim, you're way too good of a dude for some of that B.S. you go off on sometimes.  (Dec 1, 2008 | post #6)

This is the kind of guy we as fans should be truly proud of. Toney is not just a high quality player, he's also a high quality teammate and friend.  (Dec 1, 2008 | post #2)

Battie leaves Magic game with sprained ankle

It's so good to see that others are sick of this mess also. Enough is enough, and its time for this ignorant junk to stop. It can be very easy to get caught up in the madness and loose your temper. I did it for awhile with LMAO, but thankfully I was able to get back on the right track. The only way we can rid ourselves of these fools, is to ignore them. Only a fool or a retard can have an ignorant discussion with themselves, so if we agree to not comment back, hopefully, they'll just go away and find a new toy to play with. Now. Lets get back to the message at hand. The Magic have been playing some good ball, and hopefully we can keep it up. I am very disappointed in J.J. Just when I started to give the man a break and believe he can really help the team out, he goes back to throwing up brick after brick. He's running out of time to prove himself, and I hope all you J.J fans are watching. This is his big chance and the chance you all have been calling for, and your boy is blowing it. Lets hope he can turn it around for the sake of the team and himself.  (Nov 30, 2008 | post #69)

Argument leads to fatal stabbing at nightclub

The same way that the klan choose to hide behind white hoods and sheets, the new racist such as yourself, have choose to hide behind computer screens to preach your sermons of hate and division. It didn't work then, and it will not work now. You are a very small minority who is running scared because you look in the rearview mirror and see whites, blacks, and members of all races working together in unity, to defeat you and your kind. YOU WILL NOT WIN!!!! YOU CAN NOT WIN!!!!  (Nov 30, 2008 | post #87)

Casey Anthony curiousity finds online home

The largest contributer to this frenzy is the rag of rags, "The Orlando Sentinel." It has been disqusting to see this on the front page every single day. I'm suprised it didn't lead on the day after the election.  (Nov 30, 2008 | post #57)

Argument leads to fatal stabbing at nightclub

Like I said before, does it really make you happy to be such a racist coward, who sits behind a computer screen and spouts this trash. Please just one time have some balls and step to someone with that mess. Be a man, and speak your mind out on the streets of Orlando, or any other place in the country. If you did, we'd all be reading about your sorry **** in the next OrlandoSentinel.com.  (Nov 29, 2008 | post #76)

Argument leads to fatal stabbing at nightclub

It is truly sad that the violent death of a black man, is the cause for such an outpouring of joy and racism. Does it sadden you at all to be such a horrible person. I love the city of Orlando, and have plenty of my most beloved friends there, but the fringe racist side, that hangs over that place, makes me so very happy that I don't live there anymore.  (Nov 28, 2008 | post #66)

Buzzer-beater conceals sloppiness

I had a great time last night at the beautiful Verizon Center, watching the Magic open that XL can, on the hometown Wiz. The guys looked great and I proudly wore my D12 jersey, and stood and cheered for every 3 pointer, every dunk, and even every J.J basket. I had a wonderful Thankgiving, and I hope all of you did too. Go Magic!!!  (Nov 28, 2008 | post #33)

In-demand Orlando Magic can't take a holiday

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Magic players, coaches, and staff. Thanks so much for making our holiday that much more special! I'll be in the stands tonight cheering you on, so if you see the guy with the dreadlocks and the D12 jersey on, that'll be me. To all the Magic fans and all my friends and family, back in the central Florida area, please have a happy and safe holiday!!!  (Nov 27, 2008 | post #7)
