Hey Reebie: "Got thread?"

here we go again, huh? Reebie, I've got the daughter, boyfriend and baby staying with me...how did this happen? Not really moved in, he has some issues from the accident. Seems like damage to his skull/brain has affected his inner ear; he can't hear and gets dizzy constantly. The gal that was driving was insured, but only to 10,000.00, which is what, 3 days in Intensive Care? I am encouraging them to sue the insurance company, especially if he does not get better. I would go nuts to have to live that way and he's a young kid still. I'm hoping he will recover, it is still pretty early after the injury....wtf I am going to 'hang' out with Coffee & Pie, someone was messing with them and posting all that and it worked to get our attention, but they seem funny, and I'm always looking for a laugh. Take it easy, ease your way back into work slowly if possible - if not, hit the ground running. I'm out of here, Noggin is on, hee hee.  (9 hrs ago | post #6669)

what did you accomplish this weekend

Sheet, I had no idea the weekend was meant for accomplishing - I met the single goal of relaxation. (of course, i had to do the mundane items like shopping, cleaning, painting, etc.) The best part is relaxing, and I even took a nap!  (9 hrs ago | post #14)

San Diego man tucks 6 lobsters into his pants

People like that should get some creative sentencing...we have people here that go in the woods and cut down old growth to sell to enrich themselves.  (9 hrs ago | post #19)

How do you like your t-bone steak cooked?

See, you're a riot! There's never a shortage of meat jokes, didja know my hubby was a meat cutter? (we did it in the meat cooler on occasion.)  (9 hrs ago | post #196)

GRUMPY Beatles legend Ringo Starr refuses to give any more auto...

yep, I think adulation would be tiring. He's been in the spot light for a very long time.  (10 hrs ago | post #5)

GRUMPY Beatles legend Ringo Starr refuses to give any more auto...

http://www.youtube .com/watch?v=w2qTS clc81s&feature =related I never understood the whole 'autograph' thing anyway. Who would want someone to write their name down? it seems lame to me, I do not get into hero worship, these people (either musicians or actors) are not any better than the next guy. We all have gifts, theirs just puts them in the public eye. I think he should have better things to do, makes sense to me. I would not hire someone to do this either. Autograph hunters are mostly just hoping to make a buck off this. Go for it Ringo, moving on is a good thing.  (11 hrs ago | post #2)

what is your favorite passtime

I forgot Michael Crichton, he actually is an MD. he wrote the book that ER was based on and I beleive that he was a writer for the TV show, too. he writes medical-type fiction. I read to my kids as they were growing up, but they don't read that much. More into electronics, computers and gaming. It's sad, I'm thinking that generation is like that, and missing out on a lot. Maybe Christmas this year, will be books only...that's a great idea I just gave myself. Books for every person!  (11 hrs ago | post #32)
