Example of how to be a bad boyfriend

There are a couple personality disorders that Amy may be alluding to in regards to the bf. There are certain medications that can alleviate the symptoms when taken in conjunction with therapy.  (Aug 5, 2009 | post #7)

Lincolnshire day care where boy died now a preschool

yeah...it seems kind of creepy to send my child to a day care center where another child was murdered, even if it is under new management.  (Aug 5, 2009 | post #2)

Ask Amy: Design a celebration to please you both

LW2: Many "prestigious " universities have endowment funds. For example, if you can make it into University of Pennsylvania (they accept only around 16% of applicants) and your family makes less than $60k a year, you pay for nothing...no loans, nothing. My daughter and I just attended a presentation by 5 Ivy league schools in Oak Brook and most of them said the same thing. However, it's highly recommended to look at several schools, as the Ivy league schools are pretty hard to get into. As Dienne, mentioned there are lots of scholarships out there for just about everything under the sun. Some for grades, some for children of employees at specific companies, some for specific majors, etc. Another way to potentially save on college costs is to take as many AP classes as possible while in High School. Most schools will accept these classes as credits if you get at least a 3 (out of 5) on the test. A school mate of my daughter ended up with 30 credits just from taking AP classes in school. Many selective colleges will look not only at grades but also at the difficulty of classes that were taken. I do have to disagree on the community college suggestion though. If LW2 is smart enough to even consider a selective school, I highly recommend that they bypass community colleges. I took a summer statistics class at a community college in order to save money (<$100 vs. the $500 that it would have cost at the private college I was attending). The class was way too easy and I really didn't learn much, even though I got an A in the class.  (Jul 10, 2009 | post #5)

You can't be anymore cold hearted and oblivious to the reasons many people are homeless. **shakes head**  (Jul 2, 2009 | post #13)
