goodyear tire in gainesville

This place is the worst. Last Wednesday we took my wife car in for an 1130 appt to have new tires put on, and a transmission flush. At nine clock that night they called and said they were just now doing flush and they found a problem with a seal. Almost 12 hours later they are letting us now of the problem. We agreed it needed to be replaced but of course it could not be finished till noon the following day. The next day when my wife picked up car on her drive home she was stranded on side of road. Apparently the a plus techs they have working there had not clipped transmission hose back on after they performed the flush. We had to have car towed back and more time taken from work to get car fixed. Thursday night when we picked up the car we thought ok our problems are over. We thought wrong. The tires we had put on my wifes luxury suv now sounded like we had super swampers . They were so loud we could not hear radio and howled at 60 mph. So now its back to the store again the following day to get the tires balanced. Apparently that service is sometime overlooked when you get new tires at Goodyear. This store is horrible and they are incompetent. I will never take another vehicle there again.  (Aug 7, 2011 | post #1)

So all people with handguns kill people? Seriously. Save me your hyperbole if those are your solutionsI can agree with thatSo I don't need a gun to defend my home, family , life or lives of others. Would hugs doWhat if they had a gun to defend themselvesThere you go again with your attacks, "gun nuts" and your exaggerations . They kill their friends when they get drunk. That is funny. I bet you think gun owners are all a bunch of southern rebel flag wearing red necks that drive pick up trucks, chew tobacco, and love nascar?  (Feb 15, 2011 | post #68)

Once again you repeat yourself like a bad record. What do you propose should be done? You have never once been specific. Saying tougher legislation is a cop out that proves you don't know the laws, regulation or enforcement currently in place. I agree their are guns and ammo that should never be sold to the general public. The gun show loophole comes to mind.  (Feb 14, 2011 | post #65)

The only nut is you. It's hard to debate with thick headed quaks. Once again their is no need to keep going back and forth when you do nothing but posts random acts of violence. It doesn't prove any point other than they are random acts. They could of been committed with guns, knives etc. Even if they were not random their is no absolute another weapon could be used instead of a firearm. It's debateless information. When you post false information, you don't rescind it.  (Feb 14, 2011 | post #61)

Novadude you are posting rational arguments. Anti- gun nuts don't use facts or rationality in their fight against gun bans, its all emotion based illogical spew. They confuse correlation with causation. With that said you won't get a response from Shirley or any others that share her belief. They might post some random act of violence, but won't address what you post. I have yet to get any engaging response. Why? Because they post false facts from Wikipedia and show how ignorant they really are. Or they cite random acts of violence using guns that are reported on some "news site" I have yet to find. So goodluck novadude. Maybe you will get a response.  (Feb 9, 2011 | post #55)

VA Property Tax Exemption for Veterans, Question 2

You are a piece of work. These people put there lives on the line so you can sit in your computer, eat granola, and post on this forum. These are freedoms you may not have if it wasn't for our military. They defend our great country and some lose their lives or become permanently disabled because of it.  (Jan 28, 2011 | post #646)

http://www.telegra ph.co.uk/news/ukne ws/law-and-order/5 712573/UK-is-viole nt-crime-capital-o f-Europe.html Did a simple search myself. Shirley the stats you quoted are completely false. In fact I found the Wikipedia page you read with the same fake stats. It even mentioned home.office under the Google search. You know anyone can post made up stuff there right? So in fact you are the one who is incorrect. There were 1.15 million violent crimes in the UK in 2007. Here are some quotes from the article... "The total number of violent offences recorded compared to population is higher than any other country in Europe, as well as America, Canada, Australia and South Africa." "A breakdown of the statistics, which were compiled into league tables by the Conservatives, revealed that violent crime in the UK had increased from 652,974 offences in 1998 to more than 1.15 million crimes in 2007. It means there are over 2,000 crimes recorded per 100,000 population in the UK, making it the most violent place in Europe." The numbers would be even higher if.... "Home Office says there has been a downtrend in overall violence for the past decade. But last October it emerged that levels of violent crime in England and Wales had been underestimated for more than a decade because of a blunder in recording methods. Ministers admitted that some police forces had not been recording offences of grievous bodily harm with intent as serious violent crime. When the offences were included violent crime figures immediately increased by a fifth."  (Jan 28, 2011 | post #49)

First off thanks for your service. Secondly, I am not sure what that or other places in the world have to do with domestic gun policy. I get your small point that yes illegal guns are a problem."Ille gal" guns being the key word. However you miss the big picture. We try and solve the country's problem with the obvious solution, when sometimes the obvious isn't the root of the problem. A.shooting occurs in Haymarket and the obvious is if guns were banned it would have never occurred. Reasonable, not really. We fail to look at the real problem. What was going on with this person before the action occurred. This applies to the wacko in Arizona and others. Could someone of intervened earlier? Yes, the warning signs are always there. But that's too personal. That takes too much effort. Can you honestly say these crimes would not be committed by other means? What are you solutions to get illegal guns of the streets?  (Jan 19, 2011 | post #39)

What legislation do you propose? Please be specific. Do you know what laws are currently in place. I would make a wild guess thats a "no". A simply Google search may help you. Seems to me your issue is merely with the existence of gun ownership. Since its simple math let's ban all guns in your world and advocate hugs. Then crime will go down.  (Jan 18, 2011 | post #37)

Aurora nice copy and post of someone else's philosophical thoughts as if they were your own. Instead you botched it and just made a large run on sentence. Your insane Aristotle. Go live off the grid.  (Jan 15, 2011 | post #9)

Hey ladies. Linda, Kate, and whoever. I'm sure there are some trees that need hugging. It's funny one of you morons cited PG county in your argument against gun ownership. Could you tell me what the demographics of that county are? Since you most likely think that only means race let me be more specific. Look at school system, graduation rate, kids with both parents in home, income, unemployment, drug use, occupations, highest level of education earned (family, education, community, and economic factors). All factors that correlate to crime levels. These are all variables that play into the higher trend of violence. If guns were not available you believe it would not occur? Of course you do because in your small world that seems logical. And because of one isolated incident from a whacko in our neighborhood you think guns are the problem. Right!  (Jan 14, 2011 | post #31)
