Tree wells and deep snow safety.

Skiing and riding in deep powder is fun but it can be hazardous - especially in the trees. Colorado suffered its first tree well suffocation death of the ski season this week. While not common in the East, tree wells are common at Western ski resorts. Tree wells are a real suffocation danger. Top Ten Snowboarding Mountains

Copper Mtn has Woodward now. Foam pit for everyone! I'm telling him the same thing if I see him at Copper Mtn again in December. He was running around all incognito at the beginning of last season. It wasn't hard to spot there were pro riders in the pipe. We chatted briefly but I left him alone. I was there for training too. He's a good guy.
